Courtyard by Marriott Memphis East Galleria

Location was great

Rude staff. Halls, elevator, room smelled horrible. AC was so loud you could not sleep.

The staff is very nice although I was given the wrong room. I was to tired to go back downstairs and get the correct room. Room was pretty dirty. No hairdryer. In room telephone did not work. One of the lamps didn't work. The USB plugs on the nightstand didn't work. The doors to the other hotel rooms would slam shut. Very strong smell of burnt oil in the hallway.

The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Although breakfast is not offered, the hotel was clean. The air conditioner did not function as expected. Nevertheless, the overall stay was pleasant, and an additional night would have been appreciated.

The fact they knew that our team was coming and they were getting things together cause we actually arrived a little bit earlier than what we were supposed to

Only thing we missed was the bar. The bar only sells beer now it doesn’t do mixed Treats anymore.

Hotel seemed nice. Walked in to a couple at the bar (that looked closed) with his phone rap blasting and he was rapping it out with it. No one else was in this quiet lobby besides the front desk lady. There was an off feeling. Like the worker was uncomfortable but didn’t wanna say anything. Anyway, I came back down 30 min later and they were gone. Just had a strange vibe to the whole situation. Our room was amazing. The shower was GREAT with plenty of hot water! Loved the room!!!!

We had some of the ceiling falling off in the shower but other than that… we loved it here!
