Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Revelstoke

It was fine for what we needed - 1 night en route home with our toddler. Would probably want something with more space and closer to town if staying longer. We chose parking lot side as we were told the mountainview side would have train noise, but we had to deal with loud parking lot noise with cars coming in late.

Fine stay here. We were driving through from British Columbia to Alberta and have stayed here before (and likely will again). Samren in the breakfast area was especially nice. This was just the place we wanted.

One of the nicest Fairfields we have ever stayed in the hotel was absolutely pristine as was our room. Also, The included buffet style breakfast was one of the better ones we’ve ever encountered as well. Very good variety for breakfast, including bacon and Link sausage. The staff obviously took great pride in their property.

The only problem is that the property is situated between the CP mainline and Canadian Highway, #1. We chose to stay on the Highway side and it was great. Turned our sound machine on and couldn’t hear a thing from the highway on the sixth floor.

Breakfast was truly exceptional. Great choice - eggs boiled & scrambled (or omellette), waffles, cereals with nuts and seeds, Fruit, great tea/coffee. The room was large, good light, spotlessly clean. Bathroom was also large, with showers and other facilities fully functional. Despite being next to the road & railway tracks, our sleep was undisturbed, thanks to adequate sound insulation in the windows. All in all, a great transit halt. Stayed there again on our return road trip.

Eggs made to order - even with an additional charge would have been great. Other than that, no complaints!
