Bed too short

Its location is perfect. Within walking distance of pubs/restaurants. Very clean and comfortable rooms

The facilities

Did not use as 5.30am check in.

Parking difficult and restricted. Small old car used for long stay at EMA. Normal car would not have fitted as 1 space left plus waste bin in entry, plus cold and raining and leaving belongings in car so no comfortable left on street.

The shower room was acceptable and the room adequately cleaned with towels provided. We liked the big bed but one side was against the wall so getting in and out was very difficult. We left early so did not have breakfast but guests have to make their own in the kitchen provided. It was a reasonable price.

The name Bondgate HOTEL is a misnomer as this place was a collection of hired rooms with codes provided to enter the front door and our individual room. There was no service as you would expect from a hotel. It was suggested in the email we received that we ask to park in the nearby pub which we tried to do as the back car park was full. However, the response from the staff at the pub was very unwelcoming so we abandoned this idea and finally realised we could park at the front of the “hotel”.
