Great place to stay

Small quaint hotel with most of the rooms being little cottages. The rooms are basic and clean. The cottages have little patio areas where you can sit with friends, chat, have some drinks. I also like their gift shop! We went out see the whales

Generally it was pleasant enough. However the A/C didn’t work and the overhead light was not working. The receptionist was very nice and rustled up a fan for us.

They charged me a 200 peso deposit for the remotes for the mini-split HVAC and TV which i didn't have a problem with, but when I told them that there was no heat or AC in the room they indicated that no rooms had heat. They said there were blankets. The outside temp was low 50's F and I needed a shower. Opining the door with the room key was such a challenge that I put my stuff back in my car and left it open when I went out to eat. The restaurant was less then friendly when I ordered a drink so I didn't eat there. It wasn't the worst place I have ever stayed, but there are much better options available in that town for a similar price.

This place needs to be upgraded

Basic accommodations- terrible staff. Don’t buy a room with AC- it doesn’t work- and neither does the heat! Max towels per room- 2! We’re three grown adults. We selected this place for the convenience of the whale tours/ but would never recommend this place to anyone. Questionable wiring to our coffee pot, tv doesn’t work, hotel staff is rude , not. Accommodating for larger groups with little children.
