I paid when I arrived again and I had already paid with you so i paid twice

Stayed here for one night while driving down Baja. This a simple hotel located on the main street into town. My bed was comfortable. The room was clean enough. The restaurant onsite was adequate. Not sure what is in the surrounding area since I arrived late and left early. Overall, this place was average and nothing special. It was fine for a one night stop over and I would stay here again when passing through.

We went for the whale watching and stayed at the associated Malarrimo Motel. It poured almost the whole time we were there, but we had a great time. Everyone was so nice and the restaurant was VERY good--and served excellent margaritas! It's not fancy, but adequate, comfortable, and affordable.

We considered staying here as it's in a good central location and we were doing the whale watching tour with Malarrimo. However after looking at the room we decided we'd go somewhere a bit nicer as we were in town for a birthday celebration. The rooms are basic but they're fine. The staff were very accommodating with providing an early check in as we came in by overnight bus early in the morning. The room cleanliness could have been improved. There were crumbs on the bed and the bottle of water that was provided was open and half empty. Perhaps they had missed a few items in their rush to get the room ready for us. Their common areas are very nice and some of their staff speak English. You can also book via email, which was handy for us.

Sadly we were there because our car broke down in guerro negro. BUT these guys made our stay so so amazing. Super affordable, good water pressure for nice hot shower after whale tour. Great food... great service. Super friendly bar staff. I have never stayed in guerro negro before with probably 20 Rt drives down the baja. This will now be one overnight stop EVERY time....

Rooms are in small structures to the side of the restaurant. The room itself was ok, but strong sewage smell from bathroom. Couldn't make myself use the shower. Also: lots of noise from the kitchen, I believe, via the air conditioner. Convenient lot and location, but wouldn't stay there again.

This was exactly what we needed, a place to stay in between whale tours. nothing fancy, clean, comfortable rooms with charm. The restaurant is conveniently located in the main building too. It is also super convenient that their whale tours leave from the property, all you have to do is walk outside the room!

room was very cold in the winter (Dec 31) but no heaters were available. bedding was rough and not comfortable, even for the price. clean place overall YOU MUST GO TO THE ASADERO. the tacos are incredible, and a la carte items were so flavourful

This motel is usually my dependable one when driving up or down the Baja, as it is halfway to the bottom. I choose it because the rooms are clean and they take pets. This was the first time I was put in a separate building because of that, though. So my room choices were limited. The room was clean and perfectly ok for a night on the road. The guests next to me, though, had no pet, but were up all night partying. So about the time I was waking up to hit the road again, they had just fallen asleep. So that wasn't cool. The best part of staying there is their restaurant. The staff is always so nice and the food is great. In the past I've met some very interesting fellow guests. This time I was the only one in the main dining room. Had a great seafood meal, though!
