Jasper Hotel

This is the best place to stay in Fargo. Great property with lots of personality, wonderful restaurants, lovely rooms and beautiful views, all in a great spot downtown with easy walking to many restaurants and shops.

Fantastic boutique hotel stay in the heart of downtown Fargo. Rooms are beautifully appointed, including luxurious sheets and fine linens. Service and food are wonderful as well.

The person at the front desk, I cannot think of his name, was so kind and professional. At dinner, the entire staff was very friendly as well. That is what makes a stay enjoyable. Our room was so nice with a fun view of downtown.

Checked in on a Saturday - front desk staff was friendly and efficient Room was beautiful and clean. Well appointed. Minibar/ desk/lounging area. Steam sauna/fitness Center/pool were all wonderful. The shower in the room had weird water pressure that would come and go with temperature fluctuations as well so it was a mixed experience there. Service in the restaurant was severely lacking consistently throughout my multiple visits. Slow to take orders (15-20 min) inattentive, lacklustre attitudes except one staff who was amazing ( Ian - you will soar to higher places) the rest of the multiple staff we encountered left us confused as to where they went for long gaps in between service considering we did not visit at busy time. Food was slow to arrive , cold and bland with the exception of one meal. Lack of standards / training and failures did not match the status of the hotel or experience a guest would expect. I did have a lengthy chat with Alecia the food and beverage manager who took my feedback seriously and I do hope that things will improve. The general hotel manager did not bother to meet with me even after I asked and waited around for a good hour before checking out in hopes they would. While speaking with other staff they conveyed the manger was in a meeting. I was burned by an overly hot beverage my first morning and did mention it to several staff as well and I would have thought considering a potential for a liability that the manager would have made a point to speak to me but sadly as it came across - it wasn’t important enough to them or they would have. Thank you to the other staff who did take the time to listen but no solution or compensation was offered either. Aka - room discount / meal voucher / etc.

A great hotel with wonderful amenities. Rosewild is an excellent restaurant on property making it great for food & drink options. Room was clean, spacious & decorated beautifully. I stayed on the 14th floor & the views are wonderful! Staff was attentive & kind. Parking was convenient & affordable. Highly recommend for your next stay in Fargo.
