"Not the Hampton I remember from years of being a customer. Disappointing."

The breakfast was fine. The person maintaining the kitchen was personable. More-so than the reception person.

I had stayed at this location on 8/28. My experience was fine. The front desk person was only civil, not at all friendly or personable. She did offer water for the room which was appreciated. The room was fine, all in order, all clean. I decided to book a room for my return on 9/2. Same person at the desk. Still only civil. And this time no offer of water, I had to ask for it. I was very disappointed in the room. Room 301. My main requirement is cleanliness. I could not use the shower as it had pinkish mold around the perimeter of the shower. Ordinarily I would have insisted on a room change. But this was a return trip from 5 days earlier and I was exhausted after a 6 hour drive. So I skipped a shower. I was very disappointed as I have been a Hampton Inn customer since before 2011. I will look into other hotels in the future. Oh, and the cost of this stay was much more than 5 days prior which as a retired person on a fixed income was a lot. I would give this a rating of 3.

"Quick getaway "

Very nice rooms and very clean. Breakfast was good and had a great variety. We will definitely be back. The mall was literally right beside the hotel so made it for easy shopping.
