AC Hotel by Marriott Tuscaloosa Downtown

Our bathroom floor wasn't clean. It hadn't been mopped from the previous guest

Filthy rooms. We checked in and our room floor was so dirty it grossed us out. Changed rooms and same thing. There is wood tile in the rooms and I’m sure it hadn’t been mopped in a while. We left after 2 tries and went to another hotel and it was the best move ever. The hallways were also dirty. Need new housekeeping staff!

What breakfast? Dining facilities were poor. Menu lame. Way too limited. If you are going to have a limited menu, it should be “standard“ foods.

Method of operating elevator could have been explained verbally or by sign. Difficult to find light switches in semi darkness difficult to completely close shades. Dining facilities were really miserable. Either have a restaurant or don’t. No half assed facilities entrance to hotel hidden behind hotel.

I really enjoyed the location. The front desk lady was nice and very helpful. I was watching TV at the bar after I checked into my room and she came over to ask how the room was?She was very considerate to a weary traveler. She definitely went beyond to make sure I was comfortable.

The breakfast.. I went to get breakfast after an early morning walk. A load of females rowing team were leaving at the same moment, none of the tables were being cleaned. No replenishment of any of the sweets was done while I was there. No juices were replenished..I sat with my coffee and no new fresh foods were added. It really was very disappointing since I had just returned from a trip to Lima Peru where I stayed at a AC hotel. I wish I would of taken pictures , but I didn’t

Exceptional stay! The rooms were spotless, staff was attentive, and amenities exceeded expectations. Perfect location for exploring the area. Highly recommend for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Will return! Also, amazing location
