The Belfry House

What a wonderful surprise! We drove up thinking we were at the wrong place. Thought we reserved a hotel on the lake. What a surprise! The hotel is lovely and our room is wonderful. This May evening is chilly so nice to have a fire going while watching Caitlyn Clark in her first WMBA game! Seriously, we travel the world in fantastic hotels and this is one of the most comfortable hotel rooms we’ve gotten to enjoy. The ‘free’ bottle of wine is very good and the numerous freshly baked muffins and chocolates and jelly beans are appreciated treats! Just wish it was a tad warmer to enjoy the large comfy patio setting. So glad we didn’t move to a hotel on the lake. Worth being here and the 9 minute drive to the resteraunts. Highly recommend!

The only thing that could be improved is the parking.

Great place. We enjoyed our stay. Was very clean. Staff is amazing. . Room is spacious and quiet. Bed was comfortable, great shower, beautiful decor. Loved the muffins in the lobby and treats/wine in the room. Will recommend to our friends and definitely stay again if in the area.

The room was very comfortable and richly appointed. The complimentary wine and snacks were nice and we enjoyed them the first night with the fireplace running. The staff was kind and accommodating, securing us tickets to the Motown Tribute concert next door at the Belfry Theater. It was a lovely weekend away for us in February.

The staff was very welcoming and the check in process was easy. The atmosphere is relaxing and was beautifully decorated for Valentine’s. The room was spacious and beautiful. The snacks and pastries were a wonderful delight. We are planning another trip in a couple of months and will be bringing our friends.

Our 2 night, mid-week stay was quite lovely. Upon arrival, we were welcomed into the beautiful lobby, decorated for Valentines’ Day and accented with musical instruments on the fireplace mantel. Check-in was a breeze and access to the room is keyless. Our suite on the second floor (there is an elevator) was comfortable and quiet with a fireplace and a big screen TV in the living room. The separate bedroom had another TV and a luxurious king bed. The large bathroom has heated floors and large walk-in shower. The additional amenities are wine ( 3 bottles with 1 being complimentary ) snacks, chocolates and water, also complimentary. The Belfry House is a great location for a romantic getaway.

We celebrated our family Christmas and attended the Lake Geneva Cooking School. Then we enjoyed our clean and very comfortable rooms. The mattresses were very comfortable and the heated bathroom floors and fireplaces were such a treat. We are returning guests and enjoy it every time.
