We felt compelled to express our deepest gratitude for the exceptional hospitality we experienced throughout our stay. Our trip was filled with unforgettable moments, and much of this is owed to the dedicated and passionate team you have.
From the very beginning, our journey was made special thanks to our Butler, Rousse. Her warm welcome started with a friendly text message even before we arrived at the hotel, setting the tone for an extraordinary experience. After we met Rousse in person, her warmth and professionalism played a pivotal role in making us feel truly valued and cared for. Her morning messages and constant attention to ensuring everything was perfect each day made us feel incredibly special.
A significant part of our visit was spent at the Preferred rooftop on the Secrets side, which provided a stunning environment for relaxation and enjoyment. Mr. Martínez and his outstanding team worked tirelessly with passion, ensuring every guest felt pampered and looked after with genuine hospitality. During our time there, we were fortunate to be served by Víctor, Julio, and Darío, who consistently anticipated our needs and delivered personalized service that only they can provide. At the bar, Manuel created some of the best cocktails and mocktails we have ever tasted, simply remarkable.

Throughout our stay at this beautiful resort, we met many talented and professional individuals. In the afternoons, we frequently visited the Secrets lobby bar, where Nely warmly welcomed us and offered excellent drink recommendations. After dinner each night, we returned to the same bar, delighting in the passionate and skillful cocktail creations by Ismael. Arely and Anayeli were always gracious and attentive, making each evening memorable with their exceptional service and delicious beverages.
We also had the pleasure of dining in four specialty restaurants, each offering unique and delightful experiences:
Bordeaux: A very special dining spot with an exceptional team. Thank you, Chef Angel, Chef Miriam, Ivan, Mauricio, Galilea, Luis, and Maura, for your warm hospitality and the unforgettable evenings we spent with you. Your efforts made our dinners extraordinary.
Portofino: Known for excellent food and outstanding service, we greatly appreciated the genuine hospitality from Gerardo, David, Sergio, and Janet. You made every detail count.
El Patio: A celebration of traditional Mexican flavors led by Rosa and her wonderful team—Gaby, Daniel, and Iván (who also served us at Bordeaux)—who consistently provided us with personalized and quality service, always remembering our preferences.
Blue Waters: with its pleasant atmosphere and wide variety of options, was another highlight. Alexis’s leadership and Pablo’s professionalism and kindness greatly added to our dining enjoyment.
After a full day of relaxation, excitement and fun our nights often ended with a visit to Coco Café, where Montse made us feel truly special through warm conversations and attentive service with our delicious iced vanilla latte.
In the mornings, we enjoyed the delicious buffet at Market Café, greeted by Diego, Jazmine, and our attentive waiter, Joya, whose excellent service was both warm and professional.
Our first spa experience was exceptional which made us return for additional service on another day. The Spa at Secrets Bahia Mita features top-notch massages and facials. We want to extend our thanks to Armando and Daniela (valet), Christian, Leslie, Adriana, Brenda (therapists), and Perla (Spa front desk) for their professionalism and care.
We also attended various evening shows offered by the hotel and would like to congratulate the team of performers/dancers for their outstanding and professional performances, which added a vibrant touch to our evenings. Our favorite show of all was The Moulin Rouge! Which was curated to perfection.
We thoroughly enjoyed the Halloween and the Day of the Death events hosted at the main plaza, which was nothing short of marvelous. The high-quality cuisine and the tremendous effort from the entire staff made the celebrations truly unforgettable.
We want to express our sincere admiration for your entertainment team, who have consistently demonstrated exceptional professionalism and warmth during the events held at the main plaza. They added an extra level of personalization to the overall experience by remembering who we were. Their cheerful demeanor, and thoughtful attention have made a significant impression on us. Each time we have encountered them, they have gone above and beyond to ensure that we felt truly special. Their positive energy and amiable nature greatly enhanced the experience of the events and left a lasting, favorable impression on all the attendees.
Our room accommodations were absolutely stunning, the cleanliness and well kept stay-over service was all due to Haidi (housekeeping) and every area of the property is truly remarkable. However, we cannot say enough what stood out the most and made a lasting impression on us was the incredible team of individuals at Secrets Bahia Mita. Your outstanding staff truly makes all the difference.
We eagerly anticipate returning very soon to continue enjoying this wonderful place.
