Barceló la Nucía Hills

The property is just beautiful. The gardens are well maintained and beautifully landscaped. The rooms are perfect and have everything you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Everything was spotlessly clean. The staff is fantastic. Every last one of them is courteous and extremely helpful. The buffet breakfast is delicious. There is a huge variety of food and the large dining area leaves loads of space for everyone to enjoy their breakfast/ dinner.

Quite mixed feelings about this hotel. The pros: absolutely fantastic breakfast. TThe quality of the ingredients was really obvious, lots of lovely choices and a really beautiful setting to enjoy it in. The pool area was relaxed and the drinks service to the pool area was quality too. I loved the large balcony off my Junior Suite, which got the morning sun and had a lovely view down to the sea. The staff were really attentive and helpful and it was great to also have full access to the sister hotel (The Palms) down the road which had an even nicer pool and chilled music / good vibes. The lobby perfume was also welcoming and delightful. The card/towel system was also a bit annoying but I think it did stop people from hogging sun-beds and allowed staff to monitor the area better, so probably a good thing upon reflection.

The cons: my room was noisy. I was woken up both mornings by noise coming from adjacent rooms which suggests the accoustics are not great - I could clearly hear conversations through the walls. No robe or bath as standard in the room (which I thought was a bit poor for a Junior Suite). You also have to pay an extra 30 euros to access the spa area with sauna and steam room etc., which normally I would expect to come standard in a 5* hotel choice. The outdoor pool was a very cold temperature so not many people were swimming as it was not enjoyable - I think you'd need very hot weather to be able to comfortably swim (so better for high season than shoulder season). No minibar in the room was also annoying - although there is a supermarket a very short walk away. The gym is very small for a 5* hotel and one morning with 4 people in it, there was hardly any room for any of us to move.

Flott uteområde. Rommene var fine. Spa område greit men dyrt. Frokosten var bra.

Ingen tilbud på hotellet. Dårlig med opplegg da det bare var en snackbar. Rund hotellet var det meste lagt ned. Vi skulle besøke Guadelest som ligger ca 30 min unna med bil.

El buffet está bien,pero para un 5 estrellas me faltó más variedad y más calidad,y la cama es cómoda,aunque la almohada es muy blanda

En líneas generales el hotel se queda escaso en cuanto a la calificación de 5 estrellas.Nos pareció pequeño y luego el parking 20€ la noche nos pareció muy caro

Maravilloso!! Empezando por el personal de recepción, y terminando por el personal de limpieza, son todos encantadores. Habitación 10. Instalaciones 10. Decoración 10. Ese detalle estupendo de tener cuando llegamos, una botella de cava en nuestra habitación deluxe y gominolas. Somos viajeros activos y hablamos con conocimiento de causa y este Hotel es con diferencia espectacular en diseño, materiales de calidad donde mires, marcos de las puertas de marmol, etc etc. Y algo que nos llamó mucho la atención es el uniforme de las camareras del comedor. Van perfectas de limpias y planchadas pero sobre todo, todas con deportivos iguales de uniforme y todas los llevaban impecables. Es la primera vez que vemos algo así y eso dice mucho del Hotel.

Para nuestro gusto, el Bufet de la cena, hay poca variedad. Y para comer solo esta la opción de Snak en el Bar de la piscina y la carta es muy reducida y poco donde elegir. Es una critica constructiva. Nos sorprende que un Hotel de esta categoría en todos los sentidos, la Restauración sea algo floja.

We had a wonderful stay at Barceló La Nucía Hills. The service was excellent from start to finish, and the staff were always friendly, professional, and helpful. The room was modern, clean, and very comfortable, with beautiful views that made the stay even more relaxing. We also really enjoyed the food — fresh, tasty, and with a great variety. Overall, a fantastic experience that we would gladly recommend.

Perfect location for this hotel, out of the busy noisy town but still close if one would miss the hustle and bustle. Our room was huge, the bed as well, extremely comfortable. Everything was really really clean, nice smell everywhere. Staf was okay, everyone tried to be nice and helpful. Beautiful green garden with many different plants, well taken care, lots of birds chirp in the morning :) There is a small gym, there would be great a ventilator, since there's no window and it tend to get really hot. Food was good, breakfast had plenty of options for everyone. Was a bit repetitive,but nothing to complain about. We had halfpension, dinner was healthy as well. I would definitely come back anytime.

A localização é muito boa. O atendimento dos funcionários é digno de um hotel 5 estrelas. Quarto maravilhoso, super espaçoso e confortável. Café da manhã com muitas opções, muita qualidade mesmo. Parabéns, voltarei com certeza!

We traveled as a group of friends and this hotel was perfect. It was very clean and tidy and the rooms were nice and modern and had all the necessities you needed. Only thing to mention was that there was a life guard that was like a hall watching over everybody. He told this child off for playing in the pool and he wasn’t actually doing anything silly he was just swimming around and in the jacuzzi it just seemed a bit harsh. But other then that everyone form reception to the bar to the restaurant where amazing and so kind. Would definitely love to return.
