Sad, sad, sad. This hotel used to be one of our favorite weekend getaways. It has gone seriously downhill since the last year. The facilities were filthy. Blood and coffee spills in the hallway for the duration of the entire weekend stay. They were there on Friday and still there on Sunday. The pool area was absolutely disgusting. It hadn't been serviced in days. There was a layer of scum several inches wide along the edge. Food crumbs and trash littered the floors. Wet towels thrown about. The only good thing was the room was clean, although showing wear. The window was broken, the wall has been sloppily patched. Stains on the shades. We booked an accessible room but were not given one. The view of the track was nice, though. Breakfast was meager and unappetizing. We opted to eat elsewhere each morning of our stay. The elevator certificates were not displayed. I dont know what happened but I would assume it is under new management. Hilton may want to reconsider using their brand at this facility if this keeps up.

We requested early check-in (1 hour) but received no response. On arrival, half hour early, check-in was easy. A/C unit in room sounded like a jet engine. Breakfast was fine. Room was clean but a little shabby, peeling wallpaper was stapled to the wall.

I liked the free breakfast buffet, the lounge and the dog friendliness. I didn't like that the cleaning people couldn't speak English, so I wasn't able to ask for additional towels or things like a trash bag or a liner for the ice buckets unless going down to the main lobby. This was a major inconvenience since I was on the 4th floor.

Stay was comfortable and good. The shower had some mildew and the wall paper was peeling. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast while we know it was free left a lot to be desired. We love common area for games and mingling. Only bad part was the coffee was lukewarm and hot water was maybe room temperature.

Extremely polite and friendly staff! Probably one of the cleanest hotels I’ve been at in a while! Pool was working, clean, and warm! We chose to extend an extra day and I’m glad we did. Great time. I wish we had the push to wake up for the breakfast!

As I walked in the front door, I was welcomed by Jahrell and Billie, both greeting me with smiles and pleasantries. We all know the importance of making a great first impression, and these two individuals passed with flying colors. They are both valuable assets to Hilton, and I commend them for hiring individuals with the attributes displayed by these two employees! Our room was very clean and fresh smelling as we walked in. The pillows supplied covered a broad variety of firmnesses, making it easy to find one we liked, and the bed was comfortable as well. Our bathroom was supplied with a generous amount of soap, body wash, shampoo and cream rinse, along with plenty of clean towels and wash cloths. The breakfast has a variety of offerings from eggs, meats, cereals, pancakes, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, etc. To appreciate the value of this breakfast, one needs only to go to one of the restaurants that offer breakfast sandwiches and grab a couple, along with a couple cups of coffee… the price adds up fast… if you have to buy for 2-3 kids along with you and your spouse, it could easily cost you over $20.00! The included breakfast is a great money saver! My wife and I were very satisfied with our multiple-night stay at this property, and we will definitely stay here again when we’re back in this area!
