hotel around TAKAYAMA, an Ascend Collection Hotel

The location is excellent, the staff is wonderful, the room is comfortable, the bed is huge. The breakfast is interesting in the way it is served and looks like a work of art.

Fijn hotel, op loopafstand van het station en het centrum. Bij het hotel verhuren ze elektrische fietsen wat zeker een aanrader is! Personeel is ook erg vriendelijk :)

Het bed was wat aan de harde kant

Location for train and bus was very good as well as local eateries. Facilities were quite new and very clean. Biggest bed I have ever slept in. Partner and I were different postcodes.

Main gripe was the air conditioning unit. Despite it looking brand new, and being a Daikin unit, it was constantly beeping and cycling through the night. Thought it may have been a once off until it did it again the second night. We were there 2 nights, and both nights sleep were totally wrecked. Mentioned it to front desk staff at checkout, but haven't had a response from the hotel at all to date. Maybe just that room ? Maybe not.....

Hotel is clean, facility is well maintained, friendly staff, easy check-in with kiosk, public bath is available despite it's a city hotel.

The hotel accommodates group tourists, so public bathrooms is always packed after dinner time.

Gute Lage mit Parkmöglichkeit. Takayama und Umgebung ist einen Besuch wert. Das Hotel ist relativ neu mit Onsen und Waschmaschinen.
