"The last I95 hotel I will ever stay in"

Long ago I had vowed never to stay at an I95 hotel ever again as cleanliness and service are almost always an issue. Took our chances on this one as it had decent reviews and seemed a bit newer. Check-in was a nightmare (don't want to get into specifics because it was obvious the front desk clerk was experiencing a personal issue), no check-in water for Titanium Member, room not adequately stocked (no extra pillows), there was a drawer in the kitchen cabinet that opened on its own (ghosts or unlevel furniture installation?), mold in bathtub as well as broken fixtures. Moving forward we will continue our practice of driving a bit towards the coast for lodging options.

"Roaches in the room"

After checking in may 16 we went right to our room and to our surprise the room had roaches in it. I have traveled and stayed at all Marriott brand hotels and have never experienced roaches in a room. We went to the front desk and the front desk clerk acted like it was normal. She said there had been a lot of rain And that’s probably why they were in the room. It made my husband sick. We left the hotel and drove straight through to our destination.Beware … I would not recommend this Residence Inn. I also thought the front desk clerk should have taken our phone number and offered for the manager to call us, but none of that happened. It was no big deal that guest would go into the room and see roaches on the curtains and in the bed.
