Breakfast needs improvement

Superbe site hôtelier. Bien décorée. Équipée en loisirs. En plein quartier des ambassades. Le cadre est superbe. Pleine nature. On entend les oiseaux. Accès direct à la plage, avec douches et toilettes. Équipe amicale. La chambre etait propre, bien climatisée et le Wi-Fi correct. Le site est sécurisé.

Ça se voyait que l'hôtel rouvrait à peine. Encore en travaux par endroits. Clairement l'équipe n'était pas totalement prête à nous accueillir. C'était compliqué à plusieurs points de vue. Les prises usb qui ne fonctionnent pas. La demande de Wi-Fi. Les horaires d'ouvertures du petit déjeuner n'étaient pas été respectés. Ça ne nous arrangeait pas. Sur le repas du soir, seuls quelques plats étaient disponibles.  Pareil pour le matin On nous sert du nescafé alors qu'il y a une machine pour faire du vrai café. C'était un peu le service minimum pour un hôtel de ce standing. Aussi, le soir, le personnel était régulièrement insistant pour que je consomme quelque chose au bar. Ça devenait pesant.

I did a reservation and when arrived a guard told me that the hotel was closed for weeks. NOT GOOD

The hotel was easy to locate and it's in a good location in Fajara. It is by the beach.

The hotel is not as nice as it looks in pictures. We arrived late at night and they were notified prior, however they were not ready to welcome us. The two ladies at the reception were acting off. The manager refused to say hello to us, and I was told that he is responsible for the booking on booking.com. Our rooms were not ready. There was no hotel water. We had to use a kettle. The hotel feels abandoned until it's the holiday season. Things were being set up when we arrived.

Great views, good gym, clean and lovely little rooms.

Front of house staff spend more time talking to each other / ignoring guests. They also tried to charge me 3x. Doormen have a side hustle in trying to aggressively sell you day trips, taxis etc - shouting over at you until you acknowledge them. It is rather unpleasant being hustled to book a taxi while trying to walk in to your hotel!

Friendly staff and the management were approachable.

There is nothing to dislike

The food was really good! The staff was friendly and happy to help and facilitate logistics issues.

A small hiccup at the level of the management that was not pleasant but the overall friendliness of the staff made up for it.
