Purple Thistle Hot Tub Lodge 32 Cameron, St Andrews

It was a very comfortable lodge, and homely. Not far from St Andrews where reception helped arrange taxis. Local taxi company was superb and recommended by reception. Hot tub was easy to use and very relaxing and overall experience was fantastic. So much so that we've booked up again for the same lodge for May 2025.

Not much to comment on to be honest. Lodge hadn't been turned over from previous occupiers but the reception arranged this as a matter of urgency and was dealt with extremely quickly. Not a negative

The layout, it had a very nice feeling of space. The gym onsite was very nice

That it didn’t have a washing machine or a dishwasher. Quite essential when you’re travelling with 2 children and going up mountains. That there was a very heavy chair next to the cupboard with games .

Great location close to St Andrews and beaches. Property clean and comfortable. Hot tub with lovely view. Very quiet.

Second and third bedrooms quite small. No dishwasher.

Hotub

The location was excellent. Very close to the centre of St Andrews and also close to a wide range of supermarkets. The view out to the countryside was lovely and it was peaceful and quiet. The property itself was well kept and decorated for the festive period which was a nice touch. On New Year’s day we required more bedding and the staff were very helpful. The hot tub was an added bonus and was a great addition to the property. We would return again.

The WiFi at times was a bit slow but it wasn’t a big deal.
