The Sayan House

- The location is slightly off the beaten track, which is perfect for a peaceful stay near Ubud. - The villas are so beautifully designed that you don’t want to leave the room. Every single detail — interior design, furniture, books, flower arrangements, fabrics, and decorative elements — is curated with exquisite taste. It is truly a bliss to stay here and the most beautiful interior I have seen in Bali. - The sunset view from the rooms is absolutely stunning. - The build quality is top-notch, with not a single construction flaw. Everything is executed to the highest possible standard — truly astonishing. - The restaurants on the property are excellent. We tried both the omakase sushi restaurant and The Sayan House restaurant for lunch and dinner, and both offered outstanding food and service. - The breakfast is simply the best breakfast I have ever had — a true bliss. - Miranda, the manager, is extremely kind and helpful. She supported us throughout our stay, shared the history of the hotel, and personally showed us around. - Putu from housekeeping prepared the room in a very flexible, thoughtful, and exquisite way.

- The only sad part was having to leave — I am already looking forward to coming back.

우선 숙소가 매우 청결합니다. 샤워기 필터를 사용하였는데, 4일간 오염이 전혀 없었으며, 숙소 컨디션도 매우 좋습니다. 호텔에 식당이 있어서 조식도 매우 맛있고 다양합니다. 한가지 아쉬운점은 소규모 빌라이다 보니 부대시설이 부족합니다.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sayan House Villa in Ubud, and I am compelled to share the wonderful experience I had. Nestled in the lush landscapes of Ubud, this villa stands out with its exquisite Japanese-inspired design that marries simplicity with elegance. The architecture and interiors reflect a thoughtful aesthetic, providing a peaceful and calming environment that invites relaxation and introspection. The views from the villa are nothing short of breathtaking. And in the evening you will be left in awe as a spectacle of vibrant colors as the sun set majestically behind the horizon, as you watch it from the beautiful garden lookout area, or the terrace in the master bedroom. A standout feature of my stay was the delicious complimentary Japanese breakfast. Healthy and satisfying. The warmth and hospitality of the villa staff added immensely to the enjoyment of my stay. Dewa and Putu, in particular, were exceptional. They were attentive and always available to assist with genuine smiles and professionalism. For anyone looking for a tranquil escape with stunning views, exceptional food, and heartfelt service, Sayan House Villa in Ubud is truly a gem worth experiencing.

We found this magical villa while searching for accommodation near one of our favourite restaurants in Ubud - Sayan House. We were pleasantly surprised that it was now possible to stay in the neighbouring - Sayan House Villas. Our experience, from the friendly welcome by Mr Dewa and his amazing team, until it was time to leave, cannot be compared to anything we have experienced in Bali, although we have visited a number of times. The villa is exquisitely and functionally decorated with Scandinavian design classics in an exciting mix with the colonial style that permeates the entire Sayan House concept. We also appreciated the fine collection of interesting books on Bali's history, architecture and gastronomy. Unfortunately, we only had a couple of days at Sayan House Villas but were able to enjoy the unbeatable view of the Sayan Valley from our magical patio for breakfast and sunset. In the evening before we slipped through the villa's magical secret door for dinner at the Sayan House restaurant, we had a refreshing cold bath in the outdoor tub to cool off after a nice sauna. On departure, we were humbly asked if we had any requests or tips for possible improvements to the villa or service, but it was simply impossible to think of anything negative or anything to improve. We were treated royally throughout our stay and immediately made plans to return as we left paradise behind on our way through the maddening traffic chaos of Ubud towards the airport.
