Location, very central, easy to reach the Marina and Mercado Municipal as well as surrounded by restaurants, shops, cafes. Clean: Apartment was spotless on arrival, fresh towels weekly and cleaners were excelllent. Management company very quick to respond to problem reports.

TV is old and small by today's standards. Internet service slow and patchy. Fortunately very good 5G service available from MEO locally Front doorstep is difficult for people with mobility problems. Walk-in shower too small for anyone over medium size and doors almost stuck open. Access to balcony was via key, which was not initially provided. Was resolved by visit from maintenance staff. Freezer door in fridge has broken catch so will not stay shut. Bed in main bedroom small and not very comfortable. No A/C in second bedroom. Apartment could do with some refurbishment in some areas.

Excellent location, good facilities, large, two bathrooms.

Noisy. Lots of street noise during the night and paper thin walls made it hard to sleep.

Terrible reception. Late arrival and no keys available. Accomodation paid for overseas collegues in advance but then the code to access the building would not be sent. Impossible to get into the building. Collegues spent over 24 hours travelling andf then over 1 h trying to get into the accomodation and extremely unhelpful and unwelcoming "hosts". Black mark and will never ever use this service again - impoliute and abysmal and no attempt to resolve the proble. They had the money up front!

The whole experience, I would not recommend this to anyone. Cost a fortune and the host was "mean" not even any small items like, salt, pepper, a couple of tea bags or coffee as a small starter pack to welcome guests with a late arrival. Only objective of this company is to make money out of foreigners!

Beautifully appointed apartment in an excellent location. Walking distance to marina, bus and train station, as well as Auchan Supermarchado. This is a lovely space- especially if you’re looking into a short stay. It has the basic necessities required to be comfortable for a couple of days. Kitchen is fairly well-equipped, minus an oven. We also found the management staff of “Check-in Portugal” to be extremely helpful and responsive.

Unfortunately, there are a few significant disappointments with the rental. First and foremost, we booked because of the fabulous view from the terrace that was pictured. Although we were aware that the terrace was on the rooftop, what we didn’t know was that it was above the 5th floor and our apartment was on the 2nd floor. Additionally, there are no umbrellas or shady overhangs, so you can only really use it in the evening, when the sun isn’t so hot. The little balconies pictured aren’t balconies at all, so the idea of having an outdoor space was truly misrepresented and not really an option. The other disappointment was the television service. For such a fashionable apartment, the system is at best antiquated. It’s extremely frustrating and very hard to navigate; although it seems to offer “apps” to use your Netflix, Youtube, etc, the apps channel just spins and spins and never actually opens up. Lastly, the apartment is terribly insulated so you can not only hear street noise, but noise from the tenants in the other apartments. I was awoken on several different occasions during the night because of external noise.

Deposit was requested before checkin - I cant remember seeing this information during booking.
