Golden Nugget Cripple Creek

I wanted to take a bath but was unable to because the plug in the bathtub would not stay in place even after numerous attempts. We barely had enough body wash for one person. The staff Howe were phenomenal.

Gina at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating.

The shuttle didn't run every day, and not very often on the days that it did.

I love going to cripple Creek, but what sucks now is the transportation they offer. Only on the weekends Fri and Sat and it's every 2hrs. Budget cut. I do recommend to do the jail and brohel tours interesting.

I had an issue with my room and Gena at the front desk got it corrected immediately

The hotel was far removed from the Casinos and did not offer a shuttle.

Conveniently close to the Hotel Casino and restaurant Salt Grass inside the casino. Great views with views and watched deer from our window.

Bed was comfortable. Room was nice cool 68°. Bathroom smelled like urine. I was told the amenity fee covered shampoo, soap in the room and things like the pool. 1st the body wash container in the shower was empty. The pool amenity was for a pool not even on the property. Casino had no drinks available for self fill. Needed to take medication and had to wait for a cocktail waitress to get water. I've stayed in several casino/hotel facilities in several States. The only place worse then this was in Mesquite, NV. That casino/hotel had a sewage backup in all the rooms on the first floor. But the Casino moved occupants and ended up comping all our rooms, because the smell was very bad. Very disappointed with Golden Nugget in Cripple Creek. This is our first visit 3 rooms, 6 family members.....we won't be returning atleast to the Golden Nugget. My brother and his wife's room smelled like Marijuana, but i guess at $91.00 a night....you get what you pay for! Again very disappointed.
