We really liked the remote location. Getting to see rural England. Loved it.

It was hard not to like everything! From the location, to the welcome, to the facilities all were great. We were attending a wedding nearby and spoke to other guests who had travelled reasonably far and were staying nearby and most were envious of what we described and what we'd paid etc! The lady who met us at the location was the owner and she couldn't have been more helpful, including giving us local taxi details and what places were like nearby for eating out etc. We will definitely stay there again at some point just to have a mini-break and would wholeheartedly recommend.

THE STAY AT THIS PROPERTY IS DREADFUL AND WAS A HORRIBLE NIGHTMARE!! THE HOST OF THIS PROPERTY WAS VERY RUDE AND NOT HELPFUL AT ALL. THE LOCATION WAS A NIGHTMARE AND WAS EXTREMELY DECIEVING AND WAS NOT LOCATABLE BY GOOGLE MAPS! I WOULD RATE THIS PROPERTY OF STAY WITH MINUS MINUS 0 IF THERE WAS A RATEABLE SCALE OF MINUS 0 !

I AM EXTREMELY UPSET AND REALLY ANGRY WITH THE PROPERY HOST AND OWNER OF THIS PROPERTY. MY YOUNG DAUGHTER HAS SUFFERED FROM BED BUG BITES AT THIS PROPERTY, AND WAS SUFFERING FROM A RASH WHICH HAS CAUSED HER TO ITCH ALOT AND HAS BECOME VERY UNCOMFORTABLE TO EVEN SLEEP AT NIGHT. OUR DOCTORS HAS DIAGNOSED THE BED BUG BITES AS COMING FROM AFTER THE STAY AT THIS PROPERTY. PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE WAS PROVIDED TO THE PROPERTY OWNER AND THE PROOF OF A MEDICAL LETTER FORM OUR GP, NOTING ALL MY YOUNG DAUGHTERS SYMPTOMS!!! THE PROPERTY OWNER HAS FAILED TO HELP SUPPPORT US WITH A FULL REFUND OF THE STAY, EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE PROMISED THAT THEY WILL REFUND US FOR THE SATY IF WE CAN PROVE A MEDICAL DOCTERS NOTES, WHICH WAS PROVIDED TO THE OWNER OF THIS PROPERTY.. ON THE CONTRARY, THE PROPERTY HOST AND OWNER WAS EXTREMELY RUDE, AND HAS SWORE ON THE CALL AND WAS CALLING US ALL NAMES UNDER THE ROOF!! I DO NOT AND NEVER WILL SUGGEST A RECOMMENDATION TO ANYONE STAYING AT THIS PROPERTY! DONT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY TO STAY AT THIS PROPERTY! THEY SHOULD BE STRUCK OFF BOOKING.COM IF THEY DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY OF THEIR CUSTOMERS WELFARE AND HEALTH, IF THIS HAPPENED TO THEIR OWN DAUGHTER THEY WILL UNDERSTAND THAT OTHER PEOPLES CHILDREN ARE ALSO IMPORTANT!!! THE PROPERTY OWNER IS EXTREMELY RUDE ! DO NOT PAY FOR THIS PROPERTY AND STAY AWAY FROM THESE LIARS !!!

No tea or coffee in the property

Lovely place for a stay but ruined by blatant dishonesty. Owners advertise on multiple platforms that there is an indoor pool - they even have pics, but the "pool" is apparently at an indoor leisure club 4 miles away. Absolute jokers. Even when i contacted the club- i still had to pay for going swimming. Such a disappointing stay and ive lodged refund request from hotels.com

A lovely cottage, very comfortable and excellent facilities. Our young children loved the toys that were available. The garden is brilliant. Thd location is lovely and peaceful, with ample parking.

We had originally booked the cottage because the description said there was a swimming pool. Unfortunately, it is not at the property, so we were disappointed about that. However, there was nothing to dislike in the cottage.

The cottage was cozy, clean and the decor well thought out. The location was peaceful and quiet.

The details on Booking.com clearly state that the facilities at the property include an indoor pool and there are photos of said pool on the site. The site also states that there is’a pool and free use of a local health Center’, which implies there is an on-site pool in addition to free use of a gym nearby. On arrival we searched for the pool and my daughters had packed their swim kits to find that there is no pool at the cottage. We were extremely disappointed and found the booking.com site had been very misleading.
