Als je, zoals wij, houdt van autenthieke gebouwen, dan is dit een geweldig hotel. De houten trap en de houten balken geven dit hotel een warme uitstraling! Als je houdt van nieuwere architectuur dan zou ik iets anders kiezen al is de ligging van het hotel ook wel zeer gunstig! De uitbaters zijn zeer vriendelijk, het ontbijt is uitstekend! Wij hadden een ruime kamer met een zeer goed bed. De kamer was zeer verzorgd. Een ruime nette badkamer met bad en lange sproeierslang. De sproeier kon echter niet opgehangen worden om te douchen, omdat hier niets voor voorzien was. Niet echt een negatief punt uiteraard, enkel ietwat ongemakkelijk maar zeker geen reden om hier niet te boeken! Dankzij de goedwerkende airco op de kamer, konden we ook genieten van een zeer goede nachtrust! Met de bagage naar de 3de verdieping kan enkel via die geweldig knappe houten trap, want er is geen lift. Maar de uitbaters bieden aan om je bagage naar boven te brengen, wat voor ons niet nodig was. Verder vol lof en wij zouden er zo weer boeken, want de stad en de Moezel (die daar splits in drie aparte armen) zijn zeker het bezoeken waard en allemaal vlakbij! Zeer mooie omgeving ook!

Great location right next to the Cathedrale, covered market and lots of restaurants. Hôtel is old and historic with decor appropriate to the historic feel. Bedrooms are spacious and bed was comfortable. No elevator so if you can’t do stairs I would recommend calling and asking for a room on the first floor. Breakfast was 13€ and consisted of breads, pastries, fruit, meats and cheese. Great affordable choice!
