Antonia Blue Villa

Antonia blue Villa facilities were great, the Villa was clean, and was exactly what we was looking for when booking with great space and comfort and awesome sun location.

Unfortunately, the Villa location was the only downside here.. taxi drivers would take a long time to come and pick you up & in some cases not pick up at all. When we utilised the taxi’s we paid €25-30 each way into Chania; which for a 4km ride I thought was quite expensive, but this isn’t the hosts problem.

We liked everything about the villa. We enjoyed the swimming pool and garden. The villa was very clean and overall rooms were a very high standard.

It was a little remote, but having a car and taxis helped.

Very easy process of checking in and out. Beautiful villa. Would highly recommend. Very well equipped. Gorgeous spaces inside and out. Nothing too much trouble for the host. Experienced the private chef which was excellent also.

Location a little far away to walk to local amenities so would recommend having a car. Although we found taxis reasonably cheap and the hosts manager Maria was more than happy to arrange and very helpful 😀

The villa was amazing. We had everything that we needed. We used the pool everyday and also used the BBQ. We highly recommend this villa.Antonis, the host, was super nice. He welcomed us personally although we only arrived quite late in the evening due to delays of our flight. Furthermore, Maria, the manager, was super nice and answered all questions and supported us if needed. We even received fresh fruits and vegetables from Antonis mother. She even brought a super delicious chocolate cake one evening, still warm. :)

Antonia Blue Villa is quite possibly the most beautiful holiday property we have ever visited, coupled with the fact that Antonis and Maria are the most helpful and gracious hosts. So much thought has been put into to this property to ensure a restful and stress free break. And the little touches are what make it stand out, from a delicious home made surprise cake to the additional towels and toiletries. The villa is set in a peaceful neighbourhood but within a short drive of Chania and some of Crete’s most beautiful beaches. The pool is a really good size, the outside areas are gorgeous and the villa has everything you could hope for - really comfy beds, plenty of space and relaxing seating areas. And it is immaculately kept. From the moment we booked, Maria got in touch with lots of helpful information about the area and offers to help with airport transport, car hire and anything else we needed. During our stay both Maria and Antonis checked in with us to ensure we were having the best time and they were always on hand to answer any questions or provide recommendations for day trips and places to eat. Their communication and service was exceptional throughout! We will be certainly back!

Fantastic villa which is perfectly designed for a family/group holiday - many different places to sit, eat and relax together but big enough for everyone to have their own space when they want to. The outdoor area is beautiful and we loved being able to sit and eat at the big dining table overlooking the pool, especially when it was lit up at night. The pool was great and we used it several times a day. The beds are really comfortable too! Antonis is an exceptional host and will go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need, including arranging car hire, transfers, recommendations for activities etc. His mother was so kind and thoughtful too, and her baking is the best! I could go on forever... Basically I would recommend this villa without hesitation to everyone - it actually brought us closer as a family because we had such beautiful surroundings in which to relax and spend time with each other. This was the overall thing that made our holiday so special. I also need to mention that 5 minutes drive away is To Antikristo, an amazing family run restaurant which we went to twice in a week due to the incredible food and lovely people.

Antonia Blue Villa was perfect and well suited to our needs. The Villa was clean, safe and extremely well equipped. We enjoyed a home baked cake on arrival along with water, milk and a selection of juices in the fridge. The stand out points for us was the BBQ area, private pool and well sculptured trees. This Villa vastly exceeded our expectations. Having 2 young children, we felt the Villa was a perfect choice to allow us to relax and enjoy our stay.

There was nothing we didn’t like. The Villa is faultless.

This was our first time visiting Crete and our host and his family were wonderful, Antonis was always available if we had any queries or needed any help with anything from excursions to restaurants! The fridge was stocked with essentials on arrival including fruit,water and beer! We had locally porduced Olive oil based shampoo soap amd showergels in each bathroom. The villa itself is super modern and furnished to a very high standard, and I have to mention the matresses on the beds themselves, they were obvioulsy new and very very comfortable and supportive - particularly important for me as I have a lower back issue. One of the main reasons I booked the Villa was because of the size of the swimming pool, it looked huge in the photos and I can confirm it was huge in reality also! Perfect for us asa a family of 5 but also big enough for larger groups. The location was ideal for us, it was about a 10min drive outside Chania's Old Harbour, but in a very private and quiet area. Good access to several local supermarkets/restaurants (which also deliver) and round the corner from a waterpark and go kart track. Obviously there a few lovely beaches to visit locally and further afield also. Plus........every morning, Antonis or his family delivered us a variety of treats, from cakes to home made wine! It was an idyllic venue and location and we were made to feel so welcome by our host - would highly recommend this Villa as great loaction for a family holiday! Thank you Antonis and family.
