Great central location to Henley Beach. Nice big family room. Reception staff were accomodating and allowed us to check in nice and early. Great for family of 5, 2 adults 3 kids for ONE night. The central communal kitchenette was great to grab a cuppa and free bottles of water from the communal fridge. The Ramsgate Tavern below accomodation, is great location and excellent food.

It is above a pub, which we knew when we booked. However, our family room was connected to the public balcony which was accessible to all patrons staying at the accomodation. There were a number of patrons who ignored the 10pm quiet time and decided to hang just outside our window connecting onto the balcony and chat to all hrs of the morning. Nothing against having a good catch up, but not when you’re being kept awake until early in the morning. With this, I believe there was no night manager or any staff available that we could contact. Not that I could find anyway.

I stayed at the Ramsgate Hotel by Nightcap Social in Adelaide for five nights and overall had a very enjoyable experience. The location is excellent. The hotel is situated in Henley Beach, about 10 km from the city center. The beach is literally just across the road, which was a huge plus. Within a 200-meter radius, there are plenty of bars, street food spots, cafés, and even a supermarket. Getting into the city is easy as well, with a bus stop only about 50 meters away. The room was well equipped and comfortable, featuring a king-size bed, a small seating area with two chairs and a table, a fridge, a desk, and a flat-screen TV. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the bathroom facilities were clean. There is also a washing machine and dryer available for a fee, which is convenient for longer stays. The staff were especially friendly and helpful – definitely one of the highlights of my stay.

One thing to keep in mind is that this is not just a hotel, but also a bar, restaurant, and gaming venue. On weekends, there is live music, which can get quite lively. If you are very sensitive to noise, this might not be the best choice. Personally, it didn’t bother me too much, and the positive aspects clearly outweighed this downside.
