TownePlace Suites by Marriott New York Brooklyn

Amazing location and walkability to the train and botanical gardens. The room was spacious and the staff were all super friendly and willing to help.

We booked a regular room with a regular shower. We arrived at the hotel and got a disabled room. Although we ordered two months in advance - we were told that there was no other room available at the hotel. Which is of course false. They screw up who order from BOOKING.

No parking

My room only had housekeeping one day. They never came again even after I spoke to a person at the front desk. I had to go to the front desk so that I had clean towels.

Definitely stay there again

I checked in here with my wife and toddler, was given two rooms on the basement level (C) that had a strong mold/mildew odor. We quickly decided we didn't want our child sleeping in that environment and checked back out. I was told a manager would contact me to help refund the room charges -- this never occurred and I had to call five times over the following week and email corporate Marriott customer service to finally get a response. Although I ended up moving to another nearby Marriott property, this hotel is refusing to refund the room charges for one of my two rooms, leaving me out over $1500. I would strongly recommend choosing another place to stay in Brooklyn -- this one has cleanliness issues and the customer service is non-existent.

Very clean, comfortable, the staff was so kind and helpful.

I have to cancel and find a new location.
