Cleanliness and service

Hard to find a better location in Kyoto. Very clean and modern hotel. Felt upscale while the price was reasonable. Only complaint would be the noise in the room at night. Sometimes it sounded like an aquarium or a coffee maker running all night. Low volume but still noticeable.

Check in & out was so quick & easy, especially checking out - you just put your key card into a machine & you’re done. The hotel is in a great area as indicated by the ‘What did you like?’ section above. The rooms were always cleaned & restocked with bottled water, towels, etc.

Central to main shops in Tokyo, walking distance to Nishiki Market, and train station. Underground underpass to shops and train station, helpful on very hot days or when it rained.

We had a great stay at Hotel Forza. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was spacious. I loved the shower and bathtub combo. We enjoyed the drink machine with coffee and matcha options. I appreciated the evening free sake was a nice touch. You just asked the front desk for a coin. The front desk was very helpful. They helped with getting a taxi, making dinner reservations and much more. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would come back.

It is really safe around the hotel. I woke up at 3am due to jetlag. I decided to go across the hotel to 7/11. I never felt this safe in the US. We are going back next year. Definitely will be staying with Forza Kyoto. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Had a lovely stay here with my family. The rooms are spacious, clean and tidy. Good supply of toiletries and they have really friendly staff. It is easy to find and the location is great.

Great location and price. The room size is bigger of all that I have stayed in Japan. Clean room, front desk are friendly and helpful. Would book again if I come to Kyoto next time.

This is a no frills hotel. You check in via machine. We asked for an extra pillow but they don’t have any. Cleaning service is only 10-1:30. Nonetheless, the location is excellent, the room is very nice and relatively speaking it’s inexpensive for where and what you get. Would definitely stay again and recommend as long as you aren’t looking for a lot of extras.
