"Family-owned Ocean Front B&B in Zadar"

We arrived at Villa Ivana to find the Owner waiting for us in the garden. He ensured we had parking and was ready to show us to our room. The room was beautiful, top-floor, amazing view of the bay and beach. The amenities in the room were extremely thoughtful, and the balcony was incredible. We sat outside and had coffee early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise. Understandably, our stay was later in the season (mid Oct), and we can only imagine staying longer during warmer weather to enjoy all the options (beach, water toys, garden, rooftop deck, etc). The hotel is pleasantly located right on the bay and has stunning views of the water and the city. We were able to easily drive to the walled city, catch an unforgettable crimson sunset, the Sea Organ, and grab an amazing dinner at Brusheta. Really enjoyed Zadar! Although our stay was brief, we felt incredibly welcome and enjoyed the hotel immensely.

The bed was a little soft for our liking, but we were able to get a decent night's sleep. Also, initially had some street noise in the early evening. Ultimately, it quieted down, and the rest of the night and morning were very peaceful. I wanted to mention these, but also state that this didn't ultimately detract from our wonderful stay.

The welcome was wonderful and the immaculate room on the 2nd floor had a lovely balcony overlooking the beach across the road and Old Zadar in the distance. Dinner options were a bit limited nearby and we had a pizza up the road. In the morning we walked around the seafront and marina to the "yellow hotel" and caught the rowing boat ferryman to Old Zadar for brunch and then the yellow taxi ferry back.

It was perfect.
