Tv did not work at all. Front desk kept saying that they were working on it, but it never worked. We like to relax and watch TV when we go to a hotel and it was not available. I really think that we should be compensated in some way for that.

Quiet, clean, responsive, polite staff.

Very poor small road signage. Hard to locate motel among all the other large signs.

The tv in the room didn’t work all night or in the morning. When I called the desk I was told a technician was working on it and the desk clerk was going to ask the manager what they were going to do to compensate us for the inconvenience. The desk clerk said she would send a text to let us know. No text was sent and no compensation was made.

The really good: The rooms are very well set up for a family or a long stay. My teen daughters and I all had plenty of space and were very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Now the bad: if you are noise sensitive, this probably isn’t the place for you. First noise offender is the freight rail line that is about 40 yards from the back of the hotel. When it rolls by you can feel it through the floor. The worst night had it going by 4 times. Second is the venting that somehow lets you hear conversations from other rooms. Third is hearing every footstep of the people above you.

We checked into this hotel early this afternoon after driving overnight from our home in New York. We have stayed at this hotel for years during our trips to South Florida, but this visit stood out because we met a wonderful, kind-hearted Marriott employee, Dell. From the moment we walked into the lobby, the front desk associate, Dell, could not have been more helpful. She was highly professional and treated us as though we were longtime friends. She took our number and called a couple of times to keep us updated on when our two-queen-bed room was ready. I also had the opportunity to speak with her when she was not busy and found her to be a compassionate, positive person with a genuinely kind heart. Marriott truly has some of the best employees in the hospitality industry, which is why we choose Marriott-brand hotels over others. Our room is very comfortable, exceptionally clean, and quiet. We travel to South Florida from our home in New York several times a year, and we look forward to staying at this wonderful hotel again.
