The property was extremely clean. The only thing I would say it could have had a little more character in the inside in keeping with the architecture and history of the beautiful city. The rooms were a little minimum and lacked any ambience. The staff were however extremely helpful, engaging and friendly. The entrance of the hotel had a ‘Cafe like style’ entrance with large open windows which was lovely. I sat there a few times and had a tea as well as meal on my first night.

Very nice, clean room in a nice hotel structure with nice architecture. The room even had a Nespresso machine which I was pleasantly surprised to see.

I love the Staycity brand! I stayed at two of their properties in Dublin and Staycity Bordeaux provided a similar boutique experience. However, I will say that likely because the hotel is situated in old buildings, there seemed to be no lift, at least in my building, and I found myself contending with far more stairs than I expected. My room was one flight up, which was fine, but then my accommodation turned out to be a duplex, which I found inconvenient, especially overnight, as the bathroom was on the first floor and the bedroom was on the second floor. Nonetheless, the accommodations were spacious and efficient and the bed could not have been more comfortable. The staff was cordial and helpful and spoke multiple languages, which put guests at ease. The Saint-Michel neighborhood where the hotel is located possesses its own charm, with lively squares containing bars and restaurants about a 5-minute walk away. The hotel is also convenient to the city centre without being in the middle of the hustle and bustle. The nearest tram stop is about a 5-7 minute walk from the hotel and a much more affordable option than a taxi if you are coming from Gare Saint Jean. The immediate area by the hotel can get a bit deserted after dark, but I did not feel unsafe, and the hotel requires a room key/code for entry at night. I'd gladly stay here again if they have rooms that are not duplexes!

This property was in a great location. We had a car but left it parked and walked everywhere. Everything looked new, in an area with lots of old buildings. The front desk clerks were extremely helpful with all questions. Would definitely recommend. Our suite had stairs to get to it, as well as stairs to a loft bedroom, but they checked with us to make sure stairs were okay, and they have other suites without stairs.

We enjoyed our stay in a good location. Although the accommodation was compact, the added bonus was the facility to cook and the bedroom door opening to a beautiful landscaped garden when you could sit with a table and two chairs. The reception staff could not have been more informative and pleasant to talk to

Really nice modern hotel, clean rooms with small balcony. Very quiet area but still walkable to the city centre and market. Only slight negative was the kitchenette and mini sink was so tiny it was difficult to cook anything but the most basic things to warm up, and no space to dry dishes.

Small but perfectly formed! We even had a little balcony. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was really quiet, although only a short walk from one of the main streets and centre, and very accessible by public transport (from the airport). The breakfast is good if you need a quick option, and free luggage storage and 24 hour desk makes awkward travel times hassle-free! Would definitely recommend and use again in Bordeaux and other cities.

Clean small hotel that had gated parking. Was right in the city center to walk and have a great evening.
