Hotel Gasthof zum Goldenen Lamm

I cannot review the Goldenen Lamm because they had overbooked and switched us to the sister hotel Der Straussen, which was excellent with comfortable rooms and superb restaurant. Staff at the Lamm were very helpful.

Het was een zeer ruime kamer en mooi. Wij hadden mooi uitzicht op het kasteel. Het ontbijt was lekkerrr.

Very quirky hotel close to the town centre, great host and excellent food- very Bavarian!

Parking is not always guaranteed; as this is a restaurant, not a hotel, and there are only six guest rooms upstairs.

Nice large room, staff super friendly and helpful. We also had tea here and the food was delicious! Dog friendly and they had a parking spot although parking is limited so not always guaranteed.

A beautifully kept, historic, centrally located property, with a deeply personal connection, for me.. My mother painted this area from a calendar photo, 60 yrs ago. This was my first visit. The village is nearly unchanged. The hotel’s owner’s suite is in the corner of the painting. It’s now painted yellow, the balcony was replaced.

Couldn’t stay longer.

Great place to sleep and eat, very good food and beer, right in the heart of the city. Nice room, very clean. Nice staff.

We arrived around 7 PM and we didn't have were to park, the staff recommend us a spot on the street, just after the corner.
