Hampton Inn & Suites Ruskin I-75, FL

The price seems high in Ruskin.

The only concern I had about the property was there were only two handicap spaces in the parking lot and I had to wheel my husband in his wheelchair from all the way at the other end of the parking lot.

For us the location was perfect. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely warm and friendly. Always greeting us with a smile.

The rooms have no safe! That’s a real inconvenience. Also no closet. In our room, the outlets in the bedside tables didn’t work. So no lights, no phone and no charging bedside. They couldn’t fix it so we had to change rooms, which was a pain. But that did solve the problem.

Bed was too soft and too many soft pillows. A couple of firmer pillows would have been good.

Variety

The room was spacious, very clean, and quiet—we didn’t hear any noise from other rooms or the surroundings. The facilities felt brand new and well maintained. Breakfast was simple but well served, clean, and organized, with a few options that were all good quality.

The room layout was a bit inconvenient—the closet is positioned behind the bathroom sliding door. At one point, one of my kids almost got his fingers caught when the door was opened after a shower, which felt like a safety concern.
