Very clean. Nice pool. Only downside is the room was small and the walls are paper thin. You can hear people talking through the walls and ceiling.

The hotel is nice for the area, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the decor is perfect for gold country. The pool area is large and relaxing. The hotel itself is unique but it sits in a cute little area of restaurants and boutique shops that are fun to browse. We had outstanding food and drinks at a couple of places. Likewise, breakfast was great. Nice stopover or a good destination for a quite weekend in gold country. Everything there closes somewhat early, so plan accordingly if you are arriving late in the day.
