Bath YMCA Hostel

Breakfast not included, great location close to city centre.

Floor in bedroom felt rather gritty but otherwise room was good.

Principle showers closed for renovation, too many stairs and waiting time for alternative

The staff is super nice. I stayed in the women only dorm. It was spacious with 4 three story beds. All beds have little curtains, a night light, an outlet and a very tiny shelf. Bathroom was clean enough and your stuff doesn't get wet in the shower. Kitchen area is very large, but the fridge was very full.

The bars on the ladder to the top bunk are quite small so it hurt when climbing. It was better when I wore my slippers.

The location is really good

It wasn’t clean, smell was terrible in corridors and the payment was so high for such conditions

The need to know about how the parking payment system works in Bath would have been helpful, but its easy enough to work out.
