Hotel Tenpyo Naramachi

Hôtel très bien situé, à proximité des parcs et temples de Nara. Sols tatamis tachés dans notre chambre, balcon non entretenu

Location near Nara Park was perfect. Close to restaurants and shopping. It's worth it to get the lake view room. Loved the sanitized slippers so we didn't have to wear dirty shoes in the room. The bathroom sink was in the main sleeping area which was distracting when sleeping with 3 of us and there weren't enough chargers near the beds but these were minor inconveniences.

雨が降って来たので傘をお借りしました。 飲み物もフリーになっていて お味噌汁が朝嬉しかった。お弁当も 美味しかったです。 大浴場があって癒されました。 ありがとうございます。

飲食店も近くにあり、とても便利でした。 部屋は綺麗でしたが、カーテンではなく障子だったので、早朝から明るくなります。早起きする方には良いですね。 フリーラウンジがあり、素敵な椅子が沢山ありました。

Breakfast was a bento delivered to my room. I was disappointed because I thought there would be a buffet. The bento was tasty, but the value was certainly not what I paid for the breakfast.

The rooms are very nice, clean and modern. However, the sliding screens in front of the window are covered with Japanese paper, which does not block thee sunlight. So when the sun rose around 5 AM, my room was full of sunlight. I think the hotel should add sunlight blocking curtains.

Convenient location.

The switches are not conveniently located. Eg. have to walk to switch off the light when sleeping. Electric sockets, which are needed to charge phone etc, are placed behind TV! The window lets light in . Especially annoying when sun rises early! Consider black-out blinds.
