Can't fault the property, it was comfortable and clean, dog friendly including dog treats in the lounge. I hadn't read the information on location fully as didn't realise this was not far from the T5 ferry port, so ideal for anyone travelling on the ferry, but if you're not used to traffic noise you ay want to take earplugs to help you drop off in the very comfy bed.

Only stayed one night. Very clean and comfortable and reasonably priced. Tea and coffee was provided but the kettle didn't work! That is only a very small criticism as we went for breakfast at macdonalds just a 2 minute drive away. Overall we were very satisfied.

A bright, cozy little room in a clean and cheerfully decorated property right next to the port. Unfortunately, the eating options in town were very limited. Reasonably convenient for foot-passengers catching an early ferry. Attentive communications from the (remote) staff.

The room and building was well presented.

It was uncomfortable to sleeping this area big noises from out sides and too small room.

Property was more than adequate for the night before a ferry ride. On second floor and no lift, notification of no lift would be nice. When I called number given was answered right away and got a good response.

Small but comfortable. Code entry convenient. Just what we expected. We will stay there again if in town.

OK I dont like to bad mouth anyone who is trying hard to provide a good service, and Jason is definitely doing that. But after all the great reviews I read I really feel like future visitors would be better served by some honesty so they can make an informed decision. The rooms in this place are tiny, very tiny. There is no room to open a suitcase unless you put it on the bed. And the bed was very uncomfortable. I don't know how anyone could say anything else about it. It was an old spring mattress that is way way past its prime. It sinks down in the middle and if there are two of you you will spend the night rolling into each other. Despite the kind owner, this place is extremely low end budget and you should know if you need a place to stay a single night, it is only that and nothing more. I would not stay here again. Next time I need a ferry I would definitely stay in Chester or anywhere else and take the early train in. We did not sleep at all. Fortunately we got a cabin on the ferry and that was great. Additionally, it is two long and very narrow staircases up to the rooms so if you have any mobility issues, or more than a light backpack, this would not be appropriate for you. But if you are traveling alone on a very tight budget and can sleep on anything while the bar next door is playing outside games late into the night- then go ahead and give the hut a try- Finally, we were there on a sunday and on sunday and monday there is absolutely no food in town- none at all.

We had a wonderful stay, the hosts made us feel at home and could not do enough for us, even surprised us with some sandwiches as we had an early ferry crossing. It was a great start to our holiday thanks guys . Omg that bed is sooo comfy!
