Very quiet location, super close to Mt Iron and Lizmore park so good for the kids

The property was spacious, clean and large enough for our group. And located quite near the centre of town.

There was no body soap or shampoo in the bath rooms. In all the other places I booked it was always provided. For payment, there was a surcharge for using credit cards.

Location was great, right at the start of Mt. Iron Track which we really enjoyed walking on. House was big and comfortable for 6 of us.

We happened to be there when it was pretty hot so having the A/C in the living room only was not adequate. All the rooms were pretty warm at night. Pots & pans in the kitchen need to be inspected before the arrival of guests... most of them are pretty dirty and some are damaged and not usable. Although we have the habit of washing all the dishes and pots & pans prior to using them, this time we got really grossed out by the condition of the items. The dining chairs are in bad shape, all sunken in when you sit on them.

This house was spacious and very much suited our family group of eight, age ranges 5-73, five adults and three children. The location was in a quiet area of town, at the base of Mt Iron Walking Track. A view of the hills from some of the windows. It was a close walk or drive to the Lake, plenty of amenities to choose from.

A spate of warm weather (January) made the house very hot, especially on the western end rooms. We mitigated this by closing the curtains early in the afternoon before the sun hit that side of the house. We also opened up all the windows of the house at sunset. No doubt the house being too warm would not be a problem most of the year! There was an air conditioner in the kitchen dining/lounge areas. This is not a “didn’t like” but it would be useful to have some microwaveable casserole dishes available.
