Telegraph Hotel Numurkah

There was no breakfast. The room was comfortable and airy.

The food on offer at the bistro is old-fashioned. The decor is gloomy. I am a city boy (although I lived in Numurkah for five years a long time ago) with city tastes in food. I didn’t find any decent food in Numurkah and was disappointed that it wasn’t available at the hotel.

Room was very clean. Bed was very comfortable.

No breakfast had to go elsewhere. We new this before hand we only needed a bed.

The night entertainment from the establishment kept me awake but amused as well. Staff member while in the bar and games area was so friendly, and helpful.

So glad we were able to manage the steps.

The location was great and the food and drinks at the bar were great value for money. The room had a couch which made watching the TV far more enjoyable than it would have been sitting on the bed.

The bed was not comfortable and dipped so far in the middle, it made it tricky to get out of bed. The bathroom looked fancy but without a shower door, the floor got very wet.

All good and great food

We had an enjoyable stay at the Telegraph. The rooms are clean, modern, and well-equipped. The location is right in the centre of town and close to the many amenities Numurkah has to offer. We visited in mid-winter and the rooms could sometimes be a bit cool (although the beds were comfortable and warm). It was also a little strange that the main bedroom in the family suite had no windows. There is a skylight which was fine (although might be annoying in the summer ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ). Anyway. It's a lovely pub with friendly staff, good food and clean, comfortable rooms. I don't think you'll find anywhere better in the locality

Staff were great. It was quiet and conveniently located. Only issue was using fire escape stairs after 9 pm or AM before they opened which meant carry suitcases outside in rain while negotiating stairs. Food brought to room.

Meals at hotel were great. Location excellent for our purpose (dancing at the Townhall) and near cafe for breakfast Spacious king room, with 3 widows Staff went out of their way to accomodate our wishes. Wardrobe and rack for suitcase was great

The split system in the room was only working at half capacity. A soft chair and small table would be nice. Cooking smell from vent in room, late afternoon in room 7.
