Stay Express Inn Hammond

It was not throughly clean, the conditions of rooms were awful they smelled . The shower was not cleaned correctly. The people were not friendly at all.

The facility has some age to it but is kept very clean. The lobby is closed off to entry and there is no breakfast as advertised. The rooms are older, small and in need of some TLC. But the room I was in was cleaned better then some 5 star facilities. Smelled good and was very comfortable. I would stay again.

I love stay express it's convenient. Staff and owners are wonderful. The hotel is just old and needs to be upgraded

Horrible! Check in was fine. Room was in horrible condition. Thre were lots of holes in the liner of the curtin. Paint was missing in several places on walls. Tile on floor was broken and missing. The microwave had buttons not working. AC/Heat had missing key pad buttons due to ware. Refrigerator worked (FROZE everything) and was very rusted all over the outside. The neighbors stayed outside and partied most of the night loudly. There was two partial rolls of toilet paper, not even totaling a whole roll. The room with laundry and ice machine was out of order. Check out is supposed to be 11AM but at 10:30, manager (maybe franchise owner) knocked on door and said check out was 10:30. I said web site said 11. (I was watching a Hallmark movie that ended at 11) he said no 10:30. I had already put my stuff in car so all I had to do is walk out at 11. I had stayed here a few times before because of availability and price. It has gotten worse each time. Very unfriendly manager/owners. Can't recommend this place and will not be back.

People were from India could not understand them. I would give them a C average for the cleanliness around the hotel.

The guy was extremely rude when our room cards stopped working he was also rude when we asked for towel room only had two towels when we had 4 quest customer service is not his best policy

I got a non smoking room and my fiancé smokes but not inside and he was standing outside smoking with the door open and some ashes blew into the entrance of our room so I got accused of smoking in the room and was threatened to have $150 charged to my card. First off they advertise breakfast and being greeted upon arrival yet I stood outside waiting for someone to answer to check in. Also a child was answering questions I had and I don’t see that as good management. Anyways room was dusty, tv you can barely see from the bed bc it’s on the wall yet not in front of the bed. Paint peeling. I know it’s an old building so just be careful. Also no room service I stayed 3 nights and had to get stuff myself but upon check out they knock on the door at 9am making you feel forced to leave.
