Ferienwohnung Talhaus

The location was good. It was a little bit from town but a short walk (some uphill) or there was a bus stop right outside the apartment that we used a few times. Super easy. I also liked the USB ports available for charging phones. Kitchen was well stocked and host was very responsive when questions needed answering.

The space was open and airy, comfortable for 4 adults. The location was great, in a quiet area but close to the town center, attractions and bus. The kitchen was very well-equipped and the beds were very comfortable.

We couldn’t seem to get the dryer to work properly. It was a bit overpriced, we felt, for what we got. The WiFi was slow and really only worked well in the living room.

From the property, it's a short 5-10 minute walk to the main street in Lauterbrunnen, and an easy walk to the train station.

Excellent location. Beautiful view. Bus stop is right in front of the apartment. Spacious and well appointed.

Lots of room and great to have laundry and dishwasher plus other appliances. Lovely balcony to sit on and eat our meals with spectacular views.

Need to carry luggages up two flight of stairs At the expensive side Would be an even more attractive accomodation if one of the rooms has two single beds instead of both rooms have double beds

We loved everything about our stay in Lauterbrunnan and at this lovely 2 bedroom apartment. I received clear directions on how to check in from Isabel. The apartment was close to the bus stop and only a short ride into town or to Trummelbach falls / Shilthorn cable car in the other direction. The kitchen was so well equipped and made it easy to prepare meals. Plenty of room in both bedrooms. Lovely furnishings. Friendly owner.

Getting large suitcases up the stairs is a challenge.

Great house overall. The kitchen was well-stocked for those who want to cook meals at home. The space was large, relatively speaking. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The space was clean and uncluttered. We spent the previous 3 nights at the Hotel Oberland Crystal annex and this was so much better and it was approximately the same price. Breakfast is not included, but it was easy to pick up food at the Coop market in town and heat it up in the oven.

The apartment is right across the street from a youth hostel. There's no AC in the unit so on warm days we had to leave the windows open at night, but then we heard the kids making noise until 1 or 2am on Saturday night. Weeknights were generally quiet by 10pm. I know the hostel across the street has a noise curfew, but there was still very late car traffic and a few kids making noise on Saturday night. When the windows are closed the noise isn't an issue. I slept with the windows open and with earplugs so it wasn't too bad and overall we'd still prefer to stay here than other hotels in town that we've stayed.

A beautiful, spacious two-bedroom apartment with lovely views of the valley and waterfalls and convenient parking. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evenings. If I ever get back to Lauterbrunnen, I would definitely stay here again.

There was no mention of the “one-time cleaning fee”, which added to the cost, until after I had booked the apartment.
