Angsana Corfu Resort & Spa

A lovely relaxing time in this beautiful hotel benitses view suite 402 excellent house keeping twice day. Used all three restaurants all different and with good food and atmosphere. We always booked. Breakfast varied choices and quickly refilled. All the staff very helpful and pleasant a special thanks to Alexanda(with the red hair) who greeted us every morning with a lovely smile. Beach bar good too. Great spa and therapists. Pools a little cold found sea warmer. Easy to walk into town downhill with a good selection of tavernas to choose from. No 6 bus takes you into Corfu Town. We did hike up to achillion palace too. Well done Banyan

Excellent stay;best hospitality af all staff. Special remark for Chrystos and Dimithry from the SPA. Location is perfect, recomend to rent a car.

• Overall - Having traveled extensively across the world, we can honestly say that the staff in general is the best we've ever encountered. We choose to come back to Greece every year instead of traveling to other locations because of this team. The grounds are, of course, beautiful. But it's the people that put Angsana Corfu heads and shoulders above any other luxury resort we've ever visited. • Weather - We tend to visit during late Sept/early Oct to avoid high season (read: crowds, summer heat) since we like a mix of pool lounging and hiking in Corfu. Corfu is beautiful and lush, so it does have a rainy season ~early Oct - March), so sun bums beware. The temperatures get quite cool at night this time of year (~15-17°C). Highs can still climb into the mid 20s though on a sunny day. So it can be a little unpredictable around this time. Makes for perfect hiking weather, provided the rains hold off. • Grounds - The Angsana resort itself is gorgeous, with every amenity you would expect in a luxury resort and more that you might not. Their spa is one of a kind and worth the splurge if that's your thing. The fitness center is complete with newer, well-maintained equipment, an extensive number of treads, elliptical, group exercise studio offering classes daily, a beautiful yoga deck overlooking the sea, and a heated indoor lap pool. The pool is quite large with plenty of lounge chairs and cabanas. There are a number of hiking trails accessible directly from the hotel. There is no ATM, but you can find one in the village of Benitses is about a 20 min walk or a 5 min drive from the hotel, along with a number of great little traditional Greek taverns, a pharmacy, market and a couple of clothing shops. • Restaurants - Angsana has several options that make it easy to stay on the premises if you don't want to venture into Corfu Town or Benitses. Chef Tassos does a fantastic job of offering traditional Greek options with a gourmet flare. We love his "farm to table" and sustainable approach to the menu. They have tons of dining options, including multiple bars/lounges, a full dining space for breakfast and 2 restaurants for dinner (as well as in-room dining, of course). Sofrito is located on the ground floor offering Greek cuisine. Oribu is the second main restaurant offering Asian cuisine located on the main floor in the lobby. They also have A-Lounge, V-Lounge and Starboard Lounge with full coffee service, full bar and extensive wine list. The lounge hours are also extensive, making it a great place for a cocktail before dinner or a nightcap afterwards. Breakfast is included in most packages, buffet style, and it is amazing. Fresh local fruits, vegetables, traditional Greek pies, pastries, breads, etc. Vegan and GF options also available. Definitely worth getting up for and a perfect way to begin a full day of hiking. • Room/Villa - The villa upgrade is was amazing, and villa guests are treated to little "perks" that make the experience seamless and unique, such as a private concierge service, access to a complimentary lounge in the evenings (V-Lounge), a separate breakfast service, a private pool that is serviced and stocked with fresh towels daily. The rooms are cleaned promptly every morning, complete with a turndown service in the evening. The teams take care to familiarize themselves with your schedule so that your stay is uninterrupted. • The Angsana Team - The staff here are top notch. We were greeted with a surprise welcome offering personalized specifically for us for our 15th wedding anniversary - a framed photo of us along with a beautiful plate of fruit and chocolate truffles, a bottle of Karanika Cuvee Sparkling Rose, and finally a hand written note from the Angsana staff extending a warm welcome and congratulations. The villa hospitality team hospitality team didn't miss a beat - everyone was very responsive, attentive and happy to accommodate any request that we had • Closing - The beautiful people and the friendships we've made with this team over the years are the best treasures we could have hoped to take back with us. Their positive energy and warm smiles will stay with us until we see them again next year!

The hotel exceeded expectations on every level. The impecable service is felt the second you step into the hotel. The installations are gorgeous and the view is breathtaking

Perfect family holiday. The hotel amenities are great, the staff is excellent and friendly, and the premise is well maintained.

Overall quite a good experience, staff could have been more helpful at times, a lot of the times they would like to finish their conversations with their colleagues rather than do their jobs.

Amazing holiday experience. If I was to come back to Corfu (which I plan to do) I will 100% be coming back to this hotel. The staff were all unbelievably friendly and welcoming. The food at the bar and two restaurants were both exceptional. The views were amazing. Cannot fault it. 100% recommend.

Probably one of the best hotels ever. The food is lovely, the staff are all so friendly and helpful whenever you have questions. When I come to Corfu again I will definitely book this hotel.

Amazing amenities including a beautiful pool, extremely clean, varied customer service experiences (maybe they were understaffed at the end of the season) but lots of the staff were also extremely helpful and kind, overall a great stay!

Good property and view, dining is very limited. Staff aren’t the most friendly. Not a great place to visit if you are a person of colour - subtle aggression and racism.
