The location was the only good thing about it

The apartment was NOT the same as in the pictures, it was dirty, there was mold, burn marks of cigarettes, there was a dent in the floor, the towels were not clean, the headboard of the bed was broken, the building is not disabled friendly, there is an elevator but you need to climb stairs to get there A few issues got solved but once trying to get a refund the owner was not cooperative and took zero responsibility for the damages in the apartment, on top of that telling me I should have cancelled if the apartment was bad. Once getting a refund of only 50 pond I did not even get 50 pond but less so this man is a complete scammer. Be aware!

Great location, right in the center of the city, perfect for a couple of days visit to Southampton. Very big and clean apartment. Τhe host answers immediately to whatever you want to ask.

If you have an issue with sleep then you will have difficulty, as a lot of light comes in from the window shades, while there is also noise due to the location of the apartment (right next to the high street). Also, there was no shampoo in the bathroom, and no extra toilet paper. Finally, the check out was quite early in the morning (10:00), and we had to wake up quickly to pack and carry the bags until we went to the airport.

The location is great. Restaurants, shops and busses close by.

There was a strong bad smell in the bathroom cross between bug spray, paint fumes and ??? Apparently a problem with the building which isn’t owned by the owner of this flat. The entry to the building was dirty and bags of trash on the stairs when we arrived. There is an elevator but you have to climb a set of stairs to get to it. Owner easy to reach but didn’t take care of problems such as needed a new TV remote as the one there didn’t work, cords for window shades broken so couldn’t raise the shades.
