"Lovely nature getaway "

My husband and I took a little getaway trip to Wimberley and had a lovely stay at the Wimberley Inn. They are pet-friendly so our small pup was able to join us. It was great to reconnect with nature. They are a very short distance from the town square. Very convenient contactless check in/out. We will definitely be back to stay at Wimberley Inn!

"Good experience for a short stay"

Overall, it is a cute little place. We checked in on Christmas day. The front desk was closed but the staff was on call and he was able to assist me with our check in. It is a pet friendly atmosphere which was a plus but the overnight cost for the pet is slightly on the high side. Nonetheless, our pet still enjoyed his stay.

The shower wasn't draining properly.

"Overcharged & underwhelmed"

The room was undeniably spacious and beautifully decorated, which we appreciated.

We can’t help but feel scammed by the price we paid—$375 per night. After looking at future rates on booking platforms like Booking.com and TripAdvisor, we were shocked to see even popular weekends, such as Valentine’s Day, priced between $225 and $250 per night. This significant price discrepancy left us questioning the value we received. Additionally, we felt unsafe walking to and from downtown during our stay. If the inn offered some form of transportation to downtown, it could have helped justify the steep cost and added to the overall experience. We’re deeply disappointed with the outcome of this trip, especially since visiting Wimberley—and staying at this inn—was something I had been looking forward to for my birthday. While the setting was relaxing, the experience left us feeling overcharged and underwhelmed.

Wimberley Inn rented us a room with a clogged shower drain. We reported it after the first night, but nothing was done. We have stayed here for the last time.
