Every was perfect and that was my second visit to the apartment in a few months

well equipped kitchen - cleanliness - water and a bottle of fruit juice in the fridge

the view from the room was towards the garbage of the neighboring piece of land, could barely see the sea - the location. There is nothing around, the way to the nearest town is 5 min by car which is good, but walking there would be too dangerous on the windy narrow road with cars - unpleasant low quality synthetic fabric of bed sheets

The apartment was very clean and well equipped. The view was amazing. The communication was easy.

The apartment is far from the busy places,but it is still noisy. At night,either the air conditioner blows in your face, or you sleep with the window open and the noise of the cars disturbs you. Moreover,there may be noisy groups of tourists in the neighbouring apartments.

Sea view. Great terrace and externally helpful check-in lady. That’s it. Clean , minimalist rooms.

Awful surroundings. Abandoned buildings , unkempt plot , no sea access without a car, no restaurants or shops nearby. Low quality facilities ,almost non existent kitchen . For one night it’s ok, nothing more.

Everything it was amazing

The location was between the two villages of Ipsos and Barbati with lovely sea views. The studio apartment was very nicely refurbished and decorated with a modern shower room. We had been left juice and water in the fridge which was a thoughtful touch because we arrived very late and would not have been able to buy them. The apartments had a washing machine available for guest use and again that was useful, since there was no towel or bedding change. The aircon in the room was a necessity as there was a heatwave while we were there and it was mid 30s every day! The TV we did not use, as we couldn't find a channel in English but to be honest we don't usually go on holiday to watch TV. Another excellent point in its favour was that the apartments are next door to Stefanos Place, a family run taverna and there we were kindly invited by the family who own it to use their pool. Another good outcome from staying here is that we now know we will be staying at Stefanos Place next year when we go back to Corfu, which we have come to like very much. Ionian Sea View apartments will probably be very nice at some point in the future if they can provide a pool or at least an area where guests can sunbathe in the afternoon.

The apartments do not have a pool and to be fair that was my own oversight when I booked them because I did not check and had assumed the photos of the large umbrellas were actually at a pool area. I went looking for the pool around midnight when we arrived and then had to confess to my husband that I had booked somewhere with no pool...I read the full apartment details the next day and saw in the FAQs that the property does not have one. Too late for us! This might not be suitable for some families but we were able to make our way to the beach and a pool at another property so it was not the disaster it might have been for others. The balcony was very pleasant and overlooked the sea view and we were able to sunbathe till 2 pm every day, when the sun then moved round the building and left it in shadow. Unfortunately there was no flat area for sunbathing like a solarium or anywhere else to put chairs as the ground was quite rough. There were no sunbeds but had there been they might possibly have been used at the area between the two buildings but the other building has not yet been refurbished and was a bit of an eyesore. As I have said the apartments will probably be very nice once the other building is also refurbished and there is a pool or at least somewhere to lie on sunbeds.

For a comfortable stay, you need to rent a car, as beaches and shops are 15-20 minutes away on foot, along a mountain road without sidewalks
