Sapphire Beach Villa

I would recommend this property. Our unit was very quiet which was wonderful. The unit we had two thirteen had exceptional water pressure in the shower, awesome view of the marina and bay from the balcony, and all the little amenities you would need. Two size coolers beach chairs etc. Well appointed. Location for us was great also. Having dining on site also a bonus. The pizza was very good as was the sub at sudi's

Restaurant, beautiful view. Ok furnishings not enough towels for beach. Had to call and wait.

Sand in clothing drawers, not enough hangers. Couldn’t empty luggage. Electrical outage daily. Too many rules but not enough amenities. No. One to help you!! To carry luggage top floor. Or call. Rusting handrails, not enough parking. Restaurant closed for breakfast. Have to drive down the hill for the beach. No shuttles. Very old looking buildings.

I loved the condo! It was very beautiful, very clean and well stocked with most of what I needed.

I hated the fact that 3 /5 days we were there had power outage and bad internet. There could be a backup power source or some kind of warning about power outage.

My husband and I enjoyed 5 days in this condo. I was very happy with the location and condition. This location is on the marina size of Sapphire beach. It is about a 10 min walk to the beach area. Not hard to walk once you figure out which way to go. This room was equipped with beach chairs and snorkling equipment. The snorkling equipment was well used. All masks had scratches and broken straps, but my husband tied them on and made them work. There is rental snorkle gear on beach also. Overall very happy with our stay. We would stay there again.

Sugar ants were in abundance. Not too pleasant. Also sand fleas bit my daughter.

The area and the room where perfect and I very quiet and relax. Coming back for sure.

Overall it was a great stay. The apartment was clean with a well equipped kitchen and all sorts of beach gear -coolers, chairs, snorkeling gear- that kept us from having to rent that stuff at the beach. The apartment is a short walk to the beach, a marina, and a good selection of nearby restaurants. The only issue was during the prolonged power outages (apparently this is a thing on the island, wasn't storm related), the apartment got really hot and I slept on the balcony one night. Would have been nice to have some kind of battery powered fan, and a good flashlight.

Condo came very well equipped and even some things we didnt expect. If you like cooking the kitchen had just about everything you would want including a rice cooker. Food is expensive in St. Thomas so cooking some meals helps cost. The containers with lids were great for leftovers as well. Sudis restaurant near was very good and reasonable for St. Thomas pricing. The pool was good, the condo was roomy and bed comfortable Aircon was very good. Very clean and nice view and comfortable stay. Really enjoyed this condo!

Power went out a couple times on the island for an extended time and there is no generator for this condo so it got a bit warm but still giving this condo 5 stars Could use some sharp knives for cutting or steak knives.

Condo/Villa is well apportioned. Kitchen has everything needed to eat meals in. Two very nice TVs w/ all the systerm (NETFLIX, Prime, etc). Very comfortable king-size bed. Nice shower. Beautiful views from deck facing Sapphire Beach. Gated entrance w/ 24 hr security. Sudi's bar & Grille serves 3 meals. The food is great and the staff is outstanding.

The reason I am giving such a harsh rating is this place nearly ruined my family’s vacation due to the apathetic or inept management/owners. The overly positive reviews given by others are accurate to the state of the condo and if I had not been in a situation where I really needed the management/owner to act my review likely would have been another of those. However, that was not my reality. The day we arrived a storm rolled through that caused the power to be out for I estimate 16 of the first 24 hours we were on St. Thomas. In fact, we never had a window larger than 10 hours without an outage during our weeklong stay. I do understand that these outages are not the deliberate fault of the management/owners, but they absolutely could have helped minimize the impact the outages had on our trip. In the end, the lack of reliable power significantly increased the cost of our trip because we were forced to eat at restaurants more than planned and had to purchase supplies like flashlights, batteries, and fans. The first night we were trying the best we could to sleep in a condo that was significantly hotter than the outside temperature. It was so hot that we were regularly looking for signs of heat stroke in each other. The only supplies we were provided with to deal with the outage were a flashlight with a nearly dead battery and an extension cord. We attempted to call the management multiple times, but they never answered the phone even during their posted business hours.
