Kimpton - Harper Hotel by IHG

I have stayed at several Kimpton hotels, but this one has lost its charm. The rooms had chipped paint, stained carpet, and zero extras. No coffee maker, no iron, no safe, etc. You can call to request an iron, but we had to call 3 times and it took an hour. The elevators are super slow. We were on the 15th floor and had to wait 5-10 minutes for the elevator every single time. For $450 a night, there are better options.

We have stayed here multiple times, as our daughter attends TCU for college, This place is clean, quiet, in a great location, and convenient. It never disappoints and I highly recommend it.

Cortney, Dominick, and Eslie were great valet attendants! The Harper has Excellent valet services. We will definitely visit this hotel in the future.

My partner and I stayed at the Kimpton Harper hotel for 3 nights at the end of September Upon arrival, we were greeted by Debby who was very friendly and gave us a warm welcome We had booked a basic king room via Booking.com, however we were upgraded to a beautiful suite! There was a separate living and bedroom area with two TVs, and a huge bathroom with a bath. The room was lovely I thought the upgrade was random until my partner proposed to me the following day! He had contacted the hotel asking for petals/chocolate/drinks to be arranged after the proposal (thank you again to Debby for this). He didn’t request any sort of upgrade, so we believe this to be a kind offering from the hotel! We used the hotel bar to celebrate our proposal and the cocktails were lovely We had a great stay at this hotel. The customer service is brilliant. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend others to do so too!

Property was perfectly located in the hub of downtown Fort Worth giving hotel guest diverse options for dining and entertainment!!

Sometimes, it could be noisy if your room faced a part of the downtown that was within ear shot of the streets. But you get use to it and thankfully, at night, it was for the most part, quiet. Our room was amazing so having to contend with a little street noise was worth it!!

Great hotel. Fresh. Clean. Modern. Good size rooms. Exc food and bev options. Steak at breakfast a highlight! Highly recommend.

The hotel is conveniently located by restaurants and shops. It’s a short uber to the stockyards, but it’s a quieter vibe which I liked. The lobby is on the top floor which is odd, especially when you come back late at night and there’s no one around. The upstairs bar is great.
