Residence Inn by Marriott Reading

I loved the location, it was central to everything you think of. We came from our of town and it was great to stay somewhere that was close to everything and we didn't have to really worry about trying to find our way around much.The room was amazing! We have never been anywhere that had a full kitchen including full dishes set, a pot and pan set plus serving utensils and everything you could possibly need to make full meals right in your room and not to mention the full size dishwasher. Amazing room especially for the low price!!

Hotel was relatively new. A safer location for Reading, PA. Interior hallways Breakfast included is convenient.

The quality of the blankets for the pull out bed were sub par. We went to Walmart to purchase our own to use The pet fee of 150.00 is too expensive for my 18 pound non shedding Hava poo that is potty trained. I think the pet fee should be on a sliding scale on the size of the dog similar to a boarding kennel.

Hotel was clean, staff was very welcoming and friendly, and the room size was spacious.

The noise from the people above us. You can hear them walking and running early in the morning and into the late hours of the night.

Away from the crowds. Nice parking lot. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds and nice spacious rooms

Nothing really

We were so looking forward to a RELAXING WEEKEND at your hotel. It was anything but. We requested a mobility accessible room but were given a hearing impaired room which was located an extremely long distance from the parking area. I was then informed there was an ADDITIONAL CHARGE for parking. This is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS considering that the parking area, which is FREE PARKING at every other hotel I have stayed in, when you return to your establishment later in the evening is VERY DIMLY LIT. My companion and I did NOT FEEL SAFE having to walk from there to our room. Also, for the price charged per room, you MUST BE KIDDING....... While the walls at your hotel are extremely thin and you can hear your neighbors speaking or tramping loudly on the floor above, the COUP DE GRACE was a 5:30AM FIRE ALARM that occurred after we had spent 14 hours on a fall foliage trip to Jim Thorpe, PA. When I called the front desk to ask for a LATE CHECKOUT, I was told it's not customary to get a late checkout for a fire drill. I went back to bed and 45 minutes later received a phone call, which again woke us up, saying we could check out at 1PM. We visit the Wyomissing/Reading area quite frequently but after this disastrous, non-relaxing weekend we never plan to stay at your hotel again. I also plan on letting other family members and friends to avoid your hotel.
