I have stayed here before and thought it was good value.

I had a message from Booking.Com that I could not stay here, but apparently my booking had gone through. I was denied a refund, despite the fact that I had booked somewhere else in Retford via Booking.Com for the same night. I don't believe that this was the property's fault.

The location,free parking (only for 6 cars though) but there's a Ringo carpark next door £5er for 24h, cumphy bed our room wasn't ready first us on arrival but as you pick up keys from bar area we got a free drink while we waited,which was very nice of the owners,and I love the bar area good atmosphere

The room over all was compact,a couple of little things would make a difference, 1 kettle needs moving to the large cupboard next to bed but a socket will have to be place there 1st,the shower tray was needs to be tidied up new mastic as it looking a bit sad,but apart from them 2 thinks to room was fine

The location was great tidy room and well made up the bed and the towels nice friendly business go above and beyond to help you day or night and will help you carry your bags if needed great staff 🌈☺️liked the old vibe .

We didn’t see anyone about really had to go next door for the key and parking is first come first serve no food available next door also the maid forgot to clean the room on Saturday had to ask at the pub for bin bags clean towels also dust on the bathroom radiator no air conditioning and the hairdryer didn’t work but I take my own anyway.

We were getting up early to catch the train to London and it was a 10 minute walk which work out great. It was clean and the staff friendly.

The bed was a little soft. The noise outside the pub was a little loud at the end of the night but I expected this as this location was attached to the pub. The near buy food options were very limited on a Wednesday night we had to drive somewhere else.
