Place is very well kept up. Cleaning staff did a great job. Pool area is nice.

Hmmm…Where to start. First, the women at the front desk were very accommodating and helpful. The first room I was given was one of the two on the rooftop area (I chose a balcony room and just outside the door is the shared rooftop. So I guess that was the balcony). I must say, this room was really uncomfortable for me. The door is just frosted glass and the big window faces the shared rooftop so the blinds need to be closed or else it’s totally not private. It’s a massive room with little furnishing and felt, to me, like someone put a bed into an office kitchen. The furniture was old and scratched up and they had just painted the bathroom (the wall literally still had wet paint and drips on the baseboards) so the smell was intense, there was a big stain on the decorative pillow and the luggage blanket at the bottom of the bed. But the cleaner did do her best to clean it and that was noticeable and she shouldn’t be faulted. The rooftop was really dirty. The loungers looked so old and stained and rotted, the weird fake grass was…well…gross. It just felt creepy and I’m not really too picky but it was too much for me and I changed rooms. They did a good job accommodating my request and switched me to a room on the ground floor which was MUCH nicer. The ground floor room windows do face the walkway so the blinds need to be closed for privacy but that was ok for me. The pool area is nice but the lounge cushions desperately need a refresh. The bed was comfortable on the ground floor and the hot water was great. I got a great deal booking last-minute through Booking so I was satisfied with my second room.

See above. I highly recommend the property to remove the fake grass and replace the furniture on the rooftop as well as add some comfortable, natural and light-colored chairs and little table or a small lounger and coffee table between the door and kitchenette to the rooftop room I was in. And blinds for the door area. That would help immensely to improve guest satisfaction.

Staff was lovely, location was perfect - near to town but not noisy at all. We also appreciated our small little courtyard and perfect temperature little pool.

I can't really think of anything we didn't like. Maybe next time we will reserve in time to get a room with a balcony which would have been better but that was just because of a late reservation.
