De rust die heerst aan de accommodatie, de nabijheid van een goed restaurant rechtover, de koele temperaturen in het huisje, zelfs zonder airco. Ook de cleaning service voortreffelijk!!

Gute Ausgangslage für Wanderungen. Viel Platz im Zimmer.

Die Gastgeberin war nicht sehr freundlich, wir fühlten uns nicht sehr willkommen. Es roch in unserem Zimmer muffig.

Un très bel hébergement, très bien équipé, propre et fonctionnel, décoré avec goût. Literie très coonfortable. Une belle qualité du bâtit et des matériaux utilisé.

Avec une réservation via booking nous avons l'info d'une formule avec petit déjeuner à 12 euros. Au moment du petit déjeuner avec la présentation de la carte, nous demandons si le tarif de 12 euros sera bien appliqué. On nous explique que le petit-déjeuner n'est pas inclus, ce que nous savons et ce n'est pas la question. Pas de réponse précise mais addition au prix carte soit 14 euros par personne. Il serai bien qu'il y est une cohésion dans la proposition pour ne pas se sentir floué.

The apartments are even more lovely in person than they are in the pictures and the view from the second floor balcony is stunning, we had several mornings where we just read while looking at the mountains in the distance. Parking is right across the street and offers plenty of space. There is a really good restaurant with a patio that looks over the valley leading to the mountains across the street next to the parking spaces with incredible food and wonderful hosts. We highly recommend the house salad which was a highlight of our trip and 10/10 post hiking food! Sougia is about 15-20min down the road from the hotel and there are several incredible hikes nearby making this a great location to base yourself out of. We recommend Agia Eirini Gorge (sometimes spelled Irini), Lissos Gorge, and of course Samaria Gorge. The hotel is really well taken care of, very large (especially by European standards), and has everything you need to do food prepping for day trips. If you want to use the pool make sure to let them know ahead of time, we didn't use it but they look very pleasant! Attached are photos of nearby sites (30min drive or less) and a couple of pictures from the balcony. We had a wonderful time and hope to one day make the trip back out to Crete to stay here again, thank you for having us!

The bed was comfortable.

The "privacy" was remarkably absent. We've been on a trip through Crete for 2 weeks and this place has to have been the least private of them all. If you're in the "private" pool you can look straight into the taverna and vice versa. We looked forward to a nice chill pool with lots of privacy but this pool had none of it. I believe with private they meant that the pool is only to be used by our apartment but that's just awkward. There's a noticable different between "own pool" and "private pool"
