Le Havre de paix, la qualité des matériaux, la piscine, le cadre bucolique et atypique des montagnes Crétoise. La quiétude et la gentillesse des locaux ! On trouve egalement d’excellents produits cultivés sur place… un endroit magique à visiter et séjourner. Le fait qu’il y ait le restaurant au pied de l’hôtel aussi c’est très pratique.

Very nice place, with great breakfast at the restaurant across the street.

There was a bit of smell coming from the bathroom drains, the A/C makes a lot of noise and although the room is very large, it lacks a table inside. Also, the bed was not comfortable because there were two single beds stuck together instead of a double bed.

We had a lovely stay at Minos Country Living Apartments, a charming spot conveniently located right across the street from The Old Petrol Station. About 15 mins to entrance of Irini Gorge. Just a tip: the directions from Booking.com are spot on — do stick to the main road. If you try to shortcut through the smaller lanes, you’ll quickly find yourself on an unpaved track, and most rental car insurances won’t cover that. Our apartment was spacious, beautifully decorated, and felt very welcoming. My personal highlight was the bathroom: modern, stylish, and with a fantastic rain shower that was perfect after a long day out. The accommodation has three pools in total. Two are private and belong to specific apartments, while the largest one — which was ours — is shared with three other apartments. As it turned out, we had it all to ourselves, which felt like a real luxury. After the scenic drive from Elafonisi, it was simply wonderful and refreshing to cool off here. The next morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast at The Old Petrol Station before heading out to hike the Irini Gorge (about a 10-minute drive away). After the hike, I would have loved nothing more than another swim to relax, but unfortunately, we had to move on. In hindsight, I’d absolutely recommend hikers to plan at least two nights here if possible — it’s the perfect base to explore the area and unwind in comfort. All in all, a stylish, peaceful stay with great amenities in a beautiful part of Crete!

The apartment and the surrounding area was very nice, clean and quiet. 10 stars.

We found the staff to be lacking severely regarding service. There was a serious fire 100 meters from the hote and the staff did not reach out to us or keep us posted about developments in the fire. They also forgot room cleaning, but i guess thats understandable. I found the staff to be in general not serviceminded, but everything else was fine. The distance to the Samaria Gorge is about 45 minutes by car.
