Clonlum Holiday Cottages

We stayed in Cottage A as a family of 6. It is a very beautiful cottage and it was set up with a beautiful Christmas tree. The host was very friendly and helpful, and had the fire in the living room set up burning already, and the hot tun already set up ready to go. It was very clean and everything is very modern and just beautiful. Unfortunately we didnt get to spend much time admiring the views because it was raining a and very windy/ cold. Without the kids we could have done more exploring but with little ones had to keep them in the warmth. The cottage has everything you need, even a dishwasher. There was tea, coffee and sugar, some little milk pots in the fridge. We bought our own snacks and water and ordered take away and collected it. My suggestion would be to add a bigger sweeping brush for those of us with munching kids. There is a small dust pan and brush anyway. In the garden there is a big hottub, a tv outside, seating area etc. I saw am outside heater thing in one of the pics before going but didnt see that in cottage A. Maybe next time i will ask so we can sit outside with some heat on. I would highly recommend and very safe for families. For the price, its a bit expensive to for us to stay often i think because of having four kids, but i think for 2 people the price was between 100-120 on some sites. We payed 289.00 for the night so a bit expensive.

Beautiful cottage with great attention to detail. Very accommodating host

Beautiful grounds, high spec interiors with added Christmas decorations which we loved as we arrived to see the Christmas tree lit. The owner was very helpful he came to check to see if everything was good. Also gave us milk for a cuppa. Definitely stay here if you are attending a wedding at the Castle.

A peaceful secure very comfortable cottage, with a fantastic patio and hot tub,in a location with in easy reach of all the visitors attraction,we had a super weekend.

Everything was perfect for our family and the host, even had the fire stove set ready to light , very welcoming.

This cottage exceeded my expectations on all measures. I can tell a lot of thought and creativity went into the design and structure of it. It's the cosiest place I ever did stay. For anyone wanting to know there was coffee, milk, condiments, cutlery, dishes, cookware, towels, loo roll, kitchen roll, extra on beds pillows, extra bed wear under sofa, dishwasher (with tablets), disinfectant sprays, washing machine, tumbler dryer, TV's, hot tub, first aid kit, wood burning stove, oil heating/radiators, shower gel, hand wash. (P.S, I wanna thank what I assume was a female, for putting the wall mounted mirror that pulls out above the sink. My makeup never looked so good.)

Absolutely a beautiful stunning location and accommodation.we stayed the weekend before Halloween and the amazing cottage was decorated beautifully in the autumn theme.the attention to detail exceptional we can’t wait to return
